He came in an evaluated the entire Crew youth system changed it and brought in his own guys from Spain to help Coach the crew Jrs which was a big shake up.
Clearly he was the connection that brought over some really qualified coaches. For that alone it was probably worth it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I get where you're coming from, but I'm just not sure how realistic it is. Director of the Columbus Crew Academy isn't going to be a highly sought after position, at least by people who we all would want to be in that kind of position. Promoting someone from that to the to club also tells other people working in the academy that they have something to aspire to as well. Also, Gregg is the sporting director, and Nico is still with the Crew. The odds of some large shift or restructure in the organization are pretty low at this point. That kind of change is much more likely if/when Gregg is fired or moves on.
I would assume Precourt's tweet about Marsch being our new director of methodology is a joke, correct?
I only thought about how much I missed having season tickets for about 2 days before I snapped back to reality, does that count?
Hey guys, i found this thread thru google. Don't mean to kibbitz. The Quakes just hired a Director of Methodology, and i was just curious how you think your DM has worked out.
