MLS Regular Season Match Columbus Crew FC at New England Revolution Sunday, May 21 02:30 PM Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass. TV: CW Columbus / Spectrum Sports / BCSN2 (Spectrum 311/1311, AT&T 005/1005, WOW! 005/205, DirecTV 053/902, Dish 053/7205, Antenna 53.1) Win by two or more goals
New England is not very good. We have 9 of 13 on road but mostly vrs bad teams so we could go on a nice run if we get a few wins. We only got 3 points in our 3gm homestand where we should have got 7 pts. So in 3 road games I would only expect 3 points. So in 6 games that's 10 points. So we need to beat New England and draw with TFC. That will put us back on track. I think we will beat the Revs but I'm not sure we can get a draw vrs TFC.
I voted for us to make the playoffs in the initial preseason Grouchy poll and have consistently said we are somewhere between 4th - 8th in the East as presently constructed and coached. Don't rain on my #SunshineBrigade with your negativity, Kyle.
Will Afful be back in the lineup? Should be interesting to see a potential Manneh/Afful pairing on the right. I'm going full sunshine and expecting a win.
I believe Afful has been in training all week. I honestly have no idea what to expect from the starting lineup this week. We did play 3 games in 8 days. Mensah, Trapp, Higuain, Meram (and Steffen) played in all 3. There is a story in the paper today about managing Higuain's health in the Dispatch today, that may be preparing preparing us to see Higuain take a rest. But we have no backup for Pipa, so who knows. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a 4-2-3-1 with Naess and Trapp in front of the back four this game. But, honestly I am at a total loss for what to expect. All I know is that if Kekuta starts we get 3 goals on the counter and win, and KyleCrew and I will break bread together.

Are any supporters going to the game tomorrow at Foxboro? Is anyone planning to tail gate beforehand?
If there isn't an official NorOnTour, @ZipSix lives up that way. The New England fans are rather friendly, provided the kindness is returned. I'm sure they'd extend an invite to their tailgate.
They've been doing 3 Sunday games for the past month or so. Two on national TV, one local. Not sure why, started the season with just the two national games on Sunday. I agree it's still on we're playing on Sunday, since some of the teams that played midweek would've preferred an extra day of rest. Whatever.
Would have been nice to know before now, but I can see not wanting him to play on turf with that healing arm.
So a late, lunging challenge directly from behind that gets no ball and all player isn't even a yellow card? Ridiculous
