Bad cross. Get him off. Poor performance, albeit with an assist.

Pulisic out for Sancho. Understandable sub. Schurrle has faded out of the game a bit lately, so I might have taken him off instead, but he was very good earlier.

He wasn’t good. Assist or not, I felt frustrated watching that.

Well it actually wasn't a hockey assist. Kagawa got the hockey assist.

It's what I feared. Stöger may not be patient enough. Can't risk turnovers like that when you play his style.

He's given the ball away dribbling down blind alleys. Credit on the hard work for the toe poke assist but that was really more about a great finish. Literally dribbled into 3-4 defenders as his team ran past him and set up a 6 on 5 break on the other end. At worst that cancels out the toe poke assist for me. Lots of giveaways, no incisive balls bar maybe 1-2... he's been bad.

But I missed the first 20 minutes... maybe he was doing really well in that period? I can't say.

this board might want to come to the realization that this player has hit a wall this year. been poor for a lot of games. perhaps a month or so on the bench will benefit him,.

I thought Pulisic was OK. He did well to get himself in good situations, but then flubbed the final shot or pass. And he did set up the 2nd goal. Needs to be sharper overall.

Yeah he was good the first 20. I would call it an uneven performance. He won two offensive headers one of which leading to the go ahead goal and assist. All his dispossessions came in the second half. I counted 4. Too many but thats because we expect so much.

For what its worth, Sancho has touched the ball twice and done nothing since coming on

You're being too harsh, he's had his moments. Being part of the rotation for a while wouldn't hurt him though.

I still expect him to keep starting. Fingers crossed.

Schurrle inexplicably scores after a 5 on 1. Where was the defense?

going back to the one on one with CP and Bats, that was the play that we would see every game from him last year. Its good to know he's gotten more assertive but its still going to happen from time to time. Especially with a new striker. It looked like CP didn't know where Bats was going.

Nah the ref didn't see a clear penalty by Sokratis on Terodde. BVB is going to win it, with a little help.
