The Armenian league is down to 7 clubs (the UEFA minimum) and there are no other clubs in the country. If the country loses another team, it cannot have a league. Will the remaining clubs join the Georgian or Russian league system, and if so, will the only Armenian berth in Europe be rewarded to the cup winners (similar to the Liechtenstein situation with Switzerland)? The remaining Armenian clubs would probably be off financially if they were able to join the Russian league system.
I thought there are 8 clubs: Alashkert, Ararat, Banants, Mika, Gandzasar, Pyunik, Shirak and Ulisses.
