Last week, Bryan Oviedo scored his first goal for FC Copenhagen, the winner in a 2-1 win. He has also started to play left wing in some games, alternating with games at left back. But he plays almost every game, which is important for his development. Cristian Bolaños finally scored his first goal of the Superliga season yesterday. But then he also got his second and was completely outstanding in an easy 3-0 win. Apart from scoring the first and third goals, he also had a big foot in the second goal and he won a penalty, that was subsequently missed. Cristian Gamboa got his second start for Copenhagen in the cup semi final last Wednesday, but he didn't manage to stand out in an overall very poor performance nd a 3-4 defeat. However, FCK still managed to reach the final after a 1-0 win in the first leg at home. I think Gamboa would benefit heavily from going out on loan for a season or a half, much like Oviedo did. The problem is that there are only two right backs in the club, so they are probably not very likely to let him leave unless they find another one who can fill in on right back.
Thanks for the info...I've seen the last highlights of FC Copenhagen's matches and Oviedo and Bolanos have looked solid. Have you heard anything about Manchester United scouts being in Denmark to watch Oviedo? I saw the news on Daily Mail from England and it seems they are interested since he would come cheap and is very young. Costa Rica NT assistant coach Paulo Wanchope has also mentioned Everton and Newcastle being interested in Oviedo after they saw him play against Waleslast February.

I've heard the rumor, but I don't know how much there is to it. At times it looks as if it's Oviedo's agent who's trying to make him a hot commodity by talking about interest from Man U. We also need to remember that a club like Man U have many many players on their radar without necessarily having an interest in acquiring them here and now. Oviedo has looked quite good this season for a faltering Copenhagen team, but I can't see him playing any role in one of the top clubs in the World. Let him play another year or two in Copenhagen and we'll see how much he'll develop. maybe then will he be ready for a bigger challenge in a bigger league.

Costa Rica is absolutely killing it in Scandinavia. What do you guys think is the cause of this? Is there an influential agent with ties there? Do Costa Rican players see Scandinavia as the place to be over MLS and other South American leagues? What's going on?
Goalkeeper Keylor Navas played for Levante and just held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw. It's the first time Barcelona played consecutive La Liga games without a win since May 11 and 15, 2011. It's a big change from the first game of 2013-2014, when Barcelona beat Levante 7-0.
