absolutely horrific call, clearly a goal. sabo is going to be banging his head on a wall if CRC doesnt get a goal back, he's missed some incredible opportunities.
It was offside...i think the only bad call so far was the foul on Zelaya where the goal came from (maybe i'm just biased) but the ref has been right. We haven't played bad but like always we miss easy chances. I hope we can at least tie because it would be embarrassing to not qualify to the next round. Junior and Saborio suck!
I actually like Sabo even though i hate Saprissa...but what he has missed today is embarassing...and it's even harder against teams that know how to waste time and bunker (if we knew how to we would've beating USA and made the WC). I think all us Tico's can hope for is that Lavolpe doesn't quit and can keep this process going.
the ELS guy is a dumbass. Youre up a goal and you fake an injury to the point where your team has to play with 10 for a minute or so. That team is their worst own enemy.
Have you seen him play for Twente? Semi-world class. Nothing close to that tonight. He gave the ball away a million times trying to dribble your defenders.
Upset? Wow you must think real high of your team. If la selecta would stop wasting time when they are ahead. This team would be a much better squad. For some reason they can't learn from there mistakes. This happened with the US in San Salvador. They need to stop wasting time and play the full match. Costa rica was not a better team when la selecta was really playing.
