    Costa Rica lineup will be....

    -----------------------Keylor Navas----------------------
    ------------Johnny Acosta------Dennis Marshall----------
    Jose Salvatierra----------------------------------Junior Diaz
    ----------------Heiner Mora-------Celso Borges-------------
    -------Cristian Bolanos-------------------Bryan Oviedo-----
    --------------------Marco Urena----Alvaro Saborio----------

IMO our team looks very weak on paper to win the whole tournament....Lavolpe left out players that play in Europe with experience that can match up better against USA and Mexico but he seems to want a very young team for the future. We should beat Cuba and El Salvador (if we don't we might as well forfeit the Gold Cup) our real test should be Mexico who were able to bring their A-team except for Vela and Corona.

Costa Rica usually takes care of business against Caribbean teams with ease.

That said, they did have a hard time against Cuba in WCQs a few cycles ago.

Cuba is always a wild card in this thing. From what I have seen in youtube clips they are a decent squad but of course their competition was not that great.

Just like for El Salvador against Mexico...

... a tie would be like a win for Cuba (but I see them losing a close match).

We're not worried. Cuba has some good playes but lack of professionalism hurts them.

True, cause even though we all know CR has more quality,i think their goal came against the run of play.

    I believe it's artificial turf.

Yeah there wasn't much they could do and have been pretty organized in their lines.

Anyone else think its interesting that CR is choosing to play the counter attacking game. I would figure that since they are the better team they would take it to Cuba. But they seem comfortable letting Cuba have the ball then countering.
