saw Copa play Clarkstown to a 1-1 draw the last week of the season. I will be at the Clarkstown vs. Legacy playoff match today at 4pm in NJ...I'll let you know what happens. Good luck tonite...so wished that I could have done the drive and made it to both games and a minor-league soccer doubleheader of sorts!

It's a good day for some soccer. Both games should be good. Hoping Cosmos B moves on and get to host another game, maybe you could make the next.

Clarkstown just won 1-0, so if the Cosmos win tonite and if Clarkstown reserved their field then they will host the next round.

Good Atmosphere at the game, the Five points were present, and by my count there was about 300 people there. Cosmos didn't have their best game and paid the price on the one clear chance Copa had. We also had a goal called back because of a non existent offside. I like the team, they need some work, I trust they'll improve next year. I wish I could see them play before that.

NEW YORK – The Cosmos announced Tuesday that Columbia University men’s soccer coach Kevin Anderson has been named head coach of the Cosmos B for the National Premier Soccer League.

“We would like to welcome Kevin to our club and the Cosmos B organization,” Cosmos head coach and sporting director Giovanni Savarese said in a statement. “His extensive experience will help the team further expand its reach, as we continue to pursue yet another successful NPSL Season.”

A five-year veteran of Major League Soccer, Anderson was the seventh overall pick in the 1999 MLS Supplemental Draft. Selected by the Colorado Rapids, he was then traded in 2000 to the Tampa Bay Mutiny. After spending time on loan, he finished his career with the Minnesota Thunder in 2003.
