Malawi have invited the Chawinga sisters and hope they will make a big difference (and if they come I am sure they will). https://au.sports.yahoo.com/tabitha-temwa-chawinga-top-malawi-172618962.html But Temwa's team Kvarnsveden have two league matches during the time (August 3 and 10) so I doubt they will release her since she is vital for their offense. Anyone know how/if the Chinese league is playing during the time?
It is - this week and next. And Tabitha Chawinga's team (Jiangsu) is leading the league with her goals ... dunno if they'll let her leave China for the tournament? Well, let's say South African players unleashed their grudge for an underwelming World Cup on the poor islanders. On the other hand, how much competitive football the Comoros team has played in the last years?
Currently 1-0 in Mozambique v Eswatini, screening on the stream "Live A" (the main one). Later today (Thursday) it's Zambia-Mauritius (10:45 GMT) and Namibia-Botswana (13:30) Was the Mozambique goal actually scored by someone called "L. Moçambique"...? Or does the L stand for "Let's correct that later"?
Oh, I had totally missed the change of name! I suppose it happened quite recently. I was somehow fond of the name Kingdom of Swaziland; I hope at least the name of the capital city, Mbabane, remained the same. I'll have to search for the reason of the change, I am curious...

It was the king who changed it – a lot of ill-informed outsiders used to confuse Swaziland with Switzerland. (Eswatini just means "land of the Swazis".) But the city of Mbabane still has the same name. Here's a picture of it
Lol, I had naver seen a picture of the city, and I must admit that I was imagining it way differenty. It doesn't look very "African" at all: by watching at the cathedral, the belltower and the gable roofs, one could figure it's a picture from Europe. I'll go further: the mountains in the background seem to scream... Switzerland!!!
Sorry that was an error, here is Mbabane BTW today has 2 streams, Live A and Live B for the perhaps less important game.
TODAY GROUP A South Africa 3 - Madagascar 0 Malawi 13 - Comoros 0 GROUP C Zimbabwe 7 - Eswatini 0 Angola 3 - Mozambique 1 South Africa & Zimbabwe to face each other in semifinals. Group B winner will face Malawi.
Unless Zambia vs Botswana end in a draw, then both will have 7 points and Botswana's 7 point and +4 goals will beat Malawi's 6 point and +13 goals for best 2nd placed team.
And Zambia-Botswana ends in a draw. Zambia was probably forcing a draw as Botswana is an easier opponent than Malawi. They'll face each other again in the semis. TODAY Zambia 0 - Botswana 0 Namibia 8 - Mauritiius 0 Aug 8 Semifinals Zambia vs. Botswana South Africa vs. Zimbabwe
