Even with the turnover, another clean sheet yesterday. It's great to see. The scudetto chase will be over after this weekend if we beat Roma.
WOAH Now. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Napoli are one point ahead of us, and Inter are only one point below us. If they both win their games, it will look the same.
I've been saying the same thing for years. Every time, people on this board get on me--and every year since I've made such predictions, I have been correct. Juve, on paper, are shoulders and above better than anyone in Italy. They have finally hit stride and our so-called competition hasn't built a big enough lead to help them over the next few months. If Juve win again and land the psychological blow against Roma, and the rest by extension, the scudetto is as good as over. Napoli, Roma, and Inter have not shown the ability to maintain dominant form over extended periods. In recent weeks Napoli and Inter have started to falter. Roma would be next.
I agree with you that we will win Scudetto for sure if we beat Roma. However what I meant to say is we must keep of the physicality and I hope our players are not reading your post. We still cannot drop silly points and take it for granted. I believe we will win it too, but I just don't like celebrating until we officially have won it.
I thought clubs were off until the 6th but it looks like they are back on January 3rd..... coppa italia , derby della Mole..... 3 gennaio 2018, ore 20:45 CET Juventus Juventus Allianz Stadium
Looks like the break this year will be in mid-January. Also, the andata will conclude at the year end.
We are always title favorites but to say its wrapped is pretty ridiculous when we havent even been 1st place in weeks and half the season left. 3 of the last 5-6 games of the season is against Napoli, Inter, Roma and 2 of them are away from home. So even if we have a 10 point lead by then its still not guaranteed if we start losing them.
Talk to me at the end of the season. I'm not even debating this anymore. You can play our second team and they'd likely finish in a Champions League spot.
Rather, I think it is you have missed the point for the last five years. Every year, someone had brought up the same points you are presently. There is too much of a gap between Juve and the rest of the top Serie A clubs.
Hoping to see Dybala start as the 9 in a 4-3-3 against Torino. It surprises me that Allegri says that Dybala can't play forward at Juventus (to be fair, he would probably say the same thing to Messi...), but he did a very good job against Genoa. I also hope that Pjaca gets some good minutes in this game.
Did he play as a striker in his first year here? I could have sworn he did and that was when he netted like 19 goals, or it could have been 22 goals.
