Thank you Riverplate!!! Hey, quick question: Will the Quarterfinals actually begin that next week 5/19-21? Or will they push everyone back until the following week having Boca-Defensor finish up their tie?

The geniuses of Conmebol are at it again. We didn't get 4 competitive games in the round of 16 and now there are two anticipated games scheduled at the same time.

Actually, it would have been CONMEBOL's fault if any games had to be shown on delay. For some reason, São Paulo-Cruzeiro and Gremio-Caracas were originally scheduled to both be played on Wednesday at the exact same time. Fortunately, they had the sense to move one of them to Thursday.

Thanks, Riverplate. Lots of soccer as summer starts - World Cup qualifying, the final rounds of the Libertadores, and the Confederations Cup which just started. Kind of weird though, because the Libertadores usually ends by July 1, but this year it'll go until mid-July.
