Liga Muy X teams are going 0 for 3 this season. They're all garbage.

It's the defending guys. You can forget the ball and go after the man in CONCACAF. In Libertadores, that's a mistake, because unlike the Centries and the MLS clubs, those guys can dribble.

1. No it was a stupid mistake, he tripped over his own teammate, not a "going after the man" mistake.
2. Atlas was very wasteful with stupid passing and forcing plays without much creativity.
3. The inability of Atlas to even score one is more an issue than anything else.

What did you guys expect, the young Pachuca guys dominated Atlas just a couple days ago.
Atlas just doesn't have a very good offense and Castillo can't defend anyone.

 

libertadores results aren't worth having a meltdown over anymore, it's the same shite every year you should expect it. These weak ass teams we send don't stand a chance... I'll save my rage for when an mmls team ever wins the concacaf champions league.

 

Stats in the end:

Atlas = 10 shots, 0 on goal
Santa Fe = 11 shots, 3 on goal

Can't just hoof the ball from anywhere. A bit more composure, one more pass, and they may have scored. BUT defending in South America has improved. Not just in the NTs, but at the club level. MX teams cannot take points at home as guaranteed, like years ago. These South American clubs, even the ones you don't know, can defend well.


PS: You're still by far the best CONCACAF league. Anyone who knows soccer knows that. But Libertadores gives a more global perspective. For the first time I'm starting to think you're a bit stuck.

 

How are teams determined to see who goes to libertadores and the concacaf championship?
I can't believe these three teams were the ones we sent. Tigres doesn't care, or more like Tuca. Atlas isn't that good and Morelia sucks.
