If a Brazilian team is not this year's winner, I'd definitely like to see Bolivar do it. For a very long time now the Copa goes to Brazil or to Argentina, with an occasional title by a team from Ecuador, Paraguay, Colombia... and I do think that in La Paz, your team will eliminate Leon.

Yes--It would be amazing if they went that far...but at this point I don't want to think that far ahead.

It's great to kow that Bolivar is finally being recognized as one of the top clubs of SA--it's about time we regain recognition. :)

too soon for that prediction, most clubs are also getting into local playoffs and injuries can play a big part.

That's true, and 3 days before Bolivar plays the Bolivian Clasico vs The Strongest and Bolivar needs a win bad.

Bolivia's be represented strong this year in the Libertadores.

Even though it's the Strongest, I have to give them props. A good 2-0 win with no goals by Defensor' is a going to make it tough for them at home in Uruguay.

Bolivar is tempting fate, tying it 1-1 and gone into defensive shell mode. Leon may score a minute before the end, and that'd be it for the Bolivian team.

The best part is that means we don't have to listen to these bozo Mexican announcers.

    Ganamos carajo!!!

I still miss the South AMerican/Argie announcers we used to get before Fox Sports sold out to the mexican side, having them call games over the direct feed from South America..

Who would've thought a team from Bolivia would have been this year's first quarterfinalist - but Bolívar is through and with justice. A deserved accomplishment against a tough opponent. Now, Bolívar probably wishes that Santos Laguna loses because otherwise, Bolívar will have to decide the quarterfinals on Mexican soil. As the 14th seed, Lanús will have to play the first match at home if it eliminates Laguna.

Hey, I don't know what the Argentine anchormen were like when they called Bolivian teams' games, but I am sick of them being radically anti-Brazilian. I have lost count of situations when a team facing a Brazilian club goes on the counter and the anchormen are effectively cheering for them. Although I do admit Mariano Closs does add an entertaining touch with his histrionics (Ronaldinhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa).

    Yup.
Victor was stopping everything until that blast from way outside the box.
Nacional could have scored a lot more if not for the Keeper having the game of his life.
Let's see if they can get a positive result in Brazil.

Only way to beat Victor today was with something like that. No one could save that.

Por Dios como pegaban descaradamente los jugadores de Arsenal: incluso más que Izquierdóz y Velásquez de Lanús.
