Was pretty impressed with Montenegro. Any word of him switching to Europe?

He went to England and played for west ham united(loaned) in 2011, but he was too young 17 or 18 his contract wasn't extended so he came back to Paraguay he just turned 21 he'll probably go back to Europe after this season.

Somehow they decided to overturn his redcard, an elbow or blow to Marcelo Moreno (Bolivian) of Cruziero's face.

Such corruption. Thanks a lot, Grondona.

Poderoso el Papa Francisco. Llevó a Argentina a la final del Mundial, y ahora va a hacer que los Cuervos ganen la Libertadores.

WTH Bolivar?! I was expecting so much more from you.. :(

Incredible... San Lorenzo has a set path to win their first ever Libertadores. Never thought I'd see the day.

Lets hope, Nacional/Defensor Sporting can pull an upset, because CASLA never deserved to even be Argentine champs in the first place... let alone win the Copa!

A of Bolivia are feeling the same right now.

Our defense was never the best--but it relied heavily on our keeper who rumor has it showed up overweight to training prior to this game. He was fighting with the front office trying to get a pay raise because of how well he has played in the libertadores. His reactions and speed especially on the first goal showed he wasn't fit.

I put a lot of blame on him but also on not being able to find the right replacement for Willy Ferreira. Our team had nothing at the top. Both forwards we brought looked lost out there. First 45 the Colombian who didn't do much out there, and then the next 45 with the older but more experienced Carlos Tenorio of Ecuador.

Both looked not in the right rhythem or style for this team. It's what costed us any kind of attack when we would receive the ball.

I hate to see my team go down like that, but these are the two main reasons. Let me add--I hated the Mexican commentators for Fox Deportes. So So bad.

If Nacional wins it, it's going to be one of the weirdest Copas ever. They were by far the worst team that survived the group phase: the only game they dominated was against hapless Zamora of Venezuela, and at home (they won 1-0, but away lost 2-0!). They also had a negative result versus the depleted Santa Fe: 3-2 win at home, 3-1 loss away.

A team that didn't defend well, didn't show much in attack, almost never controlled the game, and doesn't have a single goal-scorer among the Top 20 in the tournament. I have no idea how they're doing it.
