man i would love to see los rayados de monterrey beat tigres, which will happen. rayados de monterey would do some serious games in the libertadores, they got a hell of a squad. arrellano, luis perez, gata fernandez etc. this is my 2nd team, aside from chivas.

In Brazil we already have Internacional (Libertadores champions) and Flamengo (Copa do Brasil champions) qualified for Libertadores 2007.

The other 4 teams will be, in my opinion, probably:

    - São Paulo (virtual brazilian champions)
    - Grêmio
    - Santos
    - Vasco da Gama

My bet is another all brazilian final in 2007. São Paulo, Internacional and Grêmio look the strongest contenders to me. Santos has its chances too.

    Fixed. :D

I almost dared to say that perhaps Colo Colo could have an infinitely small chance of having a shot at the Libertadores, but then again, half of the team will be gone by the end of the year... so no. :p

I doubt it. Toluca and maybe Colo Colo are the ones with the best chance.

The way Boca were playing under Basile I would have said they were the favorites to win. But currently under LaVolpe prolly not.

São Paulo is officially qualified for Libertadores 2007. We are the Brazilian Championship leaders by 5 points. Just more 5 games to become brazilian champions.

Santos and Grêmio will probably take other 2 spots. The last spot is going to be a very hard fight between Vasco, Botafogo and Paraná.

Dude, it's way too early to start predicting who will play in the final of the Libertadores of 2007. We're talking months away. Ask this question once the beginning of the tournament has started. Though I'm not a fan of Mexican futbol, it wouldn't surprize me to see a Mexican club in the final.
