If I had to put money on it, I's say Corinthians from Brazil is going to take it.. Will Carlinho Tevez win another Copa Libertadores? Hopefully this time Corinthians will take it serious and not send a U-16 team like they did against Puma in The Copa Sud..

    LOL!!!

Well it was a good move for Corinthians last year. They concentrated on their Home League and won it. Of course If they would have taken the Copa Sud seriously, Pumas would have never reached the final. And Pumas fans were Bragging!!! I think Corinthians will fully concentrate on the Copa Libertadores since they have never won it.

Copa Libertadores gets under way later today!!!

    Nacional (PAR) vs. Universitario (PER)
Colo Colo (CHI) vs. Chivas Guadalajara (MEX)

    games live on FSE.

I can see Universitario getting a draw out in Paraguay and Colo Colo at home winning against las Chivas.

CORINTHIANS IS THE BEST BRAZILIAN TEAM FAR.

We have the best players playing in our team, Carlitos Tevez is the best player of the Americas, we are the brazilian championship 2005 champions and now we have a better team than the last year. Corinthians propably will be the Libertadores Champion and São Paulo will get away from the competition very fast.

CORINTHIANS THE CHAMPION OF LIBERTADORES 2006.

    Guadalajara defeated Colo Colo Today.

I think it's clear they will advance to the group phase.

What is Colo Colo's current level? Are they definitely one of chile's best teams.

The tournament in Chile hasn't started yet, so currently there's no point of comparison with other Chilean teams.

In the last tournament, they go to the play-offs but were kicked out by the modest Deportes La Serena. They've had a lot of economic problems in the last few years... this led to the privatization of the club just a few months ago. Borgui has been the new DT for a few weeks and they have incorporated a lot of new players.

So, in essence, I have no idea how good or bad they compare to the likes of Catolica, etc.

And what's your excuse for the thumping the arjentine champion, veles sarfi, got during the semi-final round against Pumas UNAM?? :D :D

arjentine fusbol, copa libertadores is just getting started, so don't worry just yet... you still have a lot of time in your hands to think about excuses for when the sudacas teams looses to Mex clubs.

    cheers!!

I don't see any of the sudacas teams giving Mex clubs any problems, except for the brasileiros and argaytinians, and that is only because the COMEBOLAS always favors and protects the teams from those two countries when they face Mex. teams in the quarter, semis, and finals. ;)

deserved tie by la "U" against Nacional in Paraguay.

Colo Colo started very well, but finished poorly against Chivas.

games today, (only one? )

    Palmeiras vs. Tachira

I've had a soft spot for Tachira ever since they reached the quarterfinals two or three years ago, but still Palmeiras can take them.

Look for Cienciano to make a decent run.

Last year's team was a joke and Chivas steamrolled them. This year they signed 3 young, NT-caliber players and got rid of a few bums.

Plus, they'll have the altitude to back them up.

    Well.. well...
I can see that BAMBIS are BAMBIS in any forum...
Why San Pablo is called BAMBI ?
Well.. ask to the BAMBI dude...

Regarding San BAMBI Pablo x Corinthians...
    Well.. the history tells everything...

Regarding Braziling Legue. We won it for the first time at 1990. Now we won it 4 times x 3 time for San BAMBI Pablo.

We won 11 time more the regional legue...

Corinthians is the first FIFA world club championship.
    We won it in 2000.

Before 1982, San BAMBI Pablo never won ANY international Legue. Sure, now they have 3 but...

Its very dificult to Corinthians wins a league but when it happens, we win it many times... More than any other Brazilian team.

If we win the Brazilian league this year we become the team that more times won it. Not bad for a team that won it for the first time in 1990.

Ah.. of course we stealed nothing. BAMBIS (gays by nature) dont accept the fact that they are very fragile playing agains us, mainly in leagues finals. We always win !

So, what more can I say to the dude BAMBI ?
Wait just a bit BAMBI... soon we will play against your team..

Details on the Copa Libertadores' ball:

Veremos.
