If that is true about IRC, that would suck. I like the fact that he gave guys a chance to play and prove themselves. How else would you find out if they can play? I think that he should have called Guarin, Aguilar, Soto, and Zapata but honestly I don't think that we have a true goalscorer yet. Cucuta's main forwards are Panamanian and Argentinian. I think that Falcao's secured his spot but we need to find another forward. It might be too soon to throw Pino in there but given the lack of options I wouldn't have a problem with trying out Falcao & Pino together. Do we have any more friendlies where we could try stuff out? I didn't see the tournament, I was at work (damn japanese time ) but I think everybody needs to calm down...don't forget that it ain't Colombia's strongest squad...and it's only friendly match. I still upset on Pinto for calling our keeper for nothing !!! but seriously, I'm sure he'll invite the best players to the Copa, we have very good defense in my opinion and I wouldn't disrespect our offense so fast, don't forget that we scored 11 goals in 6 matches that Pinto coached and we only recieved 5. I'm sure we'll play better in the Copa, and then the most important thing, the qualifications. so have a little faith, at least give Pinto some time to prove himself.

Es verdad... la selecciòn la arma Pinto y hasta ahora ha tenido resultados... Pero ahora se viene lo serio... La Copa America y Las eliminatorias.... ahi se acaban los proclamos... El dijo ke los objetivos son salir a Ganar la Copa America (objetivo llegar a la final) y salir a ganar todos los partidos cn kien sea (Argentina y Brasil incluidos...) y ke seguro vamos a clasificar al mundial del 2010... No estoy de acuerdo cn vos.... Renteria el Portugal no se ha ambientado lo dijo el mismo... "estoy sin ritmo de partido me faltò la preparacion cn mi equipo actual y espero en la proxima temporada (finales de agosto inicio de septiembre) para poder salir a buscar un puesto en la titular... los primeros meses en su equipo no fueron buenos no es facil adaptarse a un nuevo equipo y menos en temporada iniciada y el no lo logrò asi ke hay ke esperar mejores momentos de futbol para el ke tiene mucho talento y se podrà afirmar seguramente en el futuro. A Pino le paso el contrario venia enchufado desde el torneo juvenil y logrò afiansarse en el Monaco y estaba pidiendo cupo en la titular desafortunadamente tubo una lesion ke le parò el proceso y no logrò recuperar la forma antes de ke se terminarà la temporada en Francia por eso mismo en este momento su estado fisico y atletico es una incognita ahi ke esperar ke se reanude el trabajo en su club... Por ese motivo no estan ahora cn la amarilla... La situacion de Herrera es diferente venia metiendo goles pero se parò... y Pinto lo probò a ver como estaba en estos dos partidos en Japon... la verdad no pude seguir los dos partidos asi ke no puedo evaluar su actuacion en tierras niponicas... Mientras ke Perea tubo un buen cierre de campana cn el Burdeos asi ke por eso fue llamado... Ahora cm ahora la delantera creo ke sea esa de japon. Falcao ke se recuperò y me hablaron muy bien de el en Japon, Rodallega ke es uno en el cual cree mucho Pinto, Perea, Herrera y Chitiva ke seguro va a estar en la Copa America... I guess you havent seen the competition Hadexx. Colombia is getting ready for the Copa. I've watched ALL Copa teams except Bolivia + Vza and I can safely say no one is such a clear candiate. The game vs Japan was boring but it wasnt without opportunities. True we didnt score BUT neither did they. So in the last 4 matches - 4 clean sheets vs Paraguay, Montenegro, Panama, Japan. So in summary: Goals: +11 Goals allowed : 4 ( 3 of them in the Uruguay friendly) Wins:4 Losses: 1 Ties:1 This is a darn good result considering: 1) new players 2) new coach Except for the game v Uruguay (remember we played with 10 men for 75 minutes) we've shown a solid level.

Tienes razòn cuando decis ke ninguno de los delanteros colombianos estan pasando por un momento fenomenal... Todos x varias razones lesiones y otras cosas... Rey tubo su peor temporada desde ke esta en Mexico parece la copia mala del Rey de la pasada temporada. Perea en el Buredos no se ha podido afianzar totalmente... Rodallega ha respondido solo cn la amarilla pq en el Monterrey no hizo mucho. Falcao ha tenido muuy mala suerte cn sus lesiones (para mi este pelao es el de mas talento y podria realmente entrar en el olimpo de los mejores del futbol pero tiene una mala suerte tremenda) Herrera venia anotando pero parece ke la mecha se le apagò... Pero kien arma la seleccion es Pinto y no lo cuestionò si entre todos ke estan a un nivel muy parecido (todos medio bajo) escoge a uno o al otro... Ademas el tiene medios ke nosotros no tenemos el conversa cn los jugadores... Pq llamar a Renteria ke desde ke llegò a Portugal ha jugado mas o menos 90 min totales divididas en min de 5 - 4 - 15 max por partido... Y el mismo jugador dice estoy sin ritmo y me estoy preparando en vista de septiembre cn el inicio de la nueva temporada portuguesa... Los jugadores y los equipos tienen programas de trabajo si un jugador se llama afuera de competencia para ke llamarlo para cansarlo mas y no dejarlo ke se prepare como el desea para poder romperla el otro ano... siendo ke si se afianza en Portugal despues se puede volver una carta muy valiosa para nuestro equipo?? Para ke llamar a Pino ke viene de una lesion y su situacion actual es una incognita?? para kemarlo y ke lo chiflen pq esta sin futbol siendo ke es bien joven y eso podria afectarlo?? Pinto llama a los jugadores les habla y se ponen de acuerdo sobre llamarlos o menos nosotros pensamos mas como hichas y no estamos adentro para entender ciertas situaciones... i think Pinto is basically tring to test out Ruedas colombia... seeing what their is saveable... what is not will be out... look at the team he is takin to copa america 9 of the players were in Peru with Rueda. His starting line up is Ruedas Colombia... he just added Mosquera and Chitiva. Alvaro Dominguez was already playin in Ruedas Colombia. Pinto is testing out what still works... I wouldnt be suprised if Julio takes Caleros spot soon, or we dont see Yepes or Cordoba again.Pinto is evalutating what still works and giving players one last shot... Look at his list for 34 players.. only like 5 were never used by Rueda but that has alot to do with they were very young like ospina,sanchez,falcao(think he got hurt when he got the call up), zuniga... but i really do hope the Bustos gets his deserved call up as he is colombias best winger.... Is it possible for him to still call up different players for copa america or can he only choose from those 34 because of Visas and stuff?

what r u smokin' ? 1)Julio is not taling Calero's position 2) Alvaro played 1-2 matches tops (and I dont even think it was for WCQ) 3) "just" adding Chitiva, Mosquera, Alvaro, McNelly to that team makes a HUGE difference... 4) Pinto is letting Ferreira play his natural fit position....Rueda had Ferreira almost as a striker 5) And no Yepes or IRC... again what r u smoking.. the one thing this team is in dire need of is constant leadership. Pinto is slowly but surely building a team of 11 leaders/11 captains... any of these guys can be (or already have been captains): Vargas Calero Yepes IRC Mosquera Ferreira LGR ...that leadership and the heart to play every game at 10000mph is what sets one team apart from the other...
not saying to get rid of YEPES and IRC but they have to slowly put in new players... I mean Mosquera and Zapata need shots... and sooner or later will take one of their spots... they are younger and faster... not better... as u see IRC is already losing his place on the team and Pinto wants him at LB because their is no other spot for him... he doesnt want to play here and for this dont think he is making the squad. Lo unico ke coincido cn vos es en una posible llamada de Bustos... Julio no es Calero... Calero no fue llamado pq esta jugando la Recopa cn el Pachuca.. La federacion se acordò cn el Pachuca para no llamar los jugadores de su equipo para el torneo en Japon y en cambio los van a dejar antes para la preparacion en la Copa America.. Calero es titular y capitan es de otro nivel respecto a Julio lo dice su historia lo dicen sus titulos... Yepes IRC y Perea sn los jugadores a los cuales se referia Pinto cuando decia ke nececitaba un mix de experiecia y juventud.... ellos sn los ke dan experiencia y ayudan el equipo a no perderse en los momentos de dificultad.. sn lideres en la cancha...
