So fernandinho comes in plays just like paulinho but fouling a whole lot more... iguess that's expected since he's not playing against cameroon on the second half when the team is already losing and need to attack....

But at least there's no space on the left side now that hulk was moved there to help the left flank...

Great subs by felipao... jo for fred... no change

Ramires for fernandinho.... again another CM that can't handle that mid by himself... why not take hulk out at that point?

What now? Going to put hernanes for ramires? Ignore that paulinho is their best at that position.

So if the ref had seen Suarez bite and showed him a red card, would Uruguayans be making the same protests? Surely, not.

It's in the same line as Zidane's headbutt in WC'06

Jamie might be playing in Monaco, but a bigger club could come calling this summer

Both of these teams will be a problem for different reasons. Colombia is more dangerous. They have the speed, creativity and wingers to do it.

Every team from now on will pose problems. What we have to worry about is how well Brasil will play. There were moments today where Brasil looked great and others where they looked like they couldn't string together 3 passes.

Colombia now up 2-0. If Colombia scores a 3rd, game over - and let the Uruguayan hack-a-thon begin.

Between Messi, C.Ronaldo, Neymar and Robben... The craque of the tournament so far has been:

    James ****ing Rodríguez.

But at least Argentina scored goals in its final game (2-3 loss to Romania).

I remember that. Insult added to injury. And that was a strange choice by their manager.

Looks like we'll face Columbia. You think Felipao might move D.Luiz to Gustavo position and play Dante?

E 64 anos depois, o Uruguai é derrotado num jogo de Copa do Mundo no Estádio do Maracanã… e por um time de camisa amarela. O exorcismo, afinal, acontece.

    Done. 2-0.

A Great GK in Ospina, solid defense with ageless Yepes and Cristian Zapata, quick as hell SBs in Armero and Zuniga, an excellent dribbler in Cuadrado and of course, J ****ing R. Colombia will be one hell of a formidable opponent.

We'd better drink a lot of coffe this week, because we need to wake up FAST!

6 days between now and game day. The team will rest up and hopefully we'll do better tactically than we did today.
