I'd like to see Messi as slightly withdrawn CF position flanked by Dembele and Malcom . They'd frighten anyone ... Midfield Busqs plus any two of Arthur , Coutinho or Alena

BBC MBM: 62 mins Messi is taking his trackie bottoms off... Barcelona 1-1 Real Madrid GOAL - Barcelona 1-1 Real Madrid Malcom But has there been a goal awarded? Confusion!!! Yes, there has. Bear with me here: Jordi Alba breaks into the area. Keylor Navas rushes out of his goal and blocks. The loose ball falls to Luis Suarez, whose stunning bending shot comes off the post. But only as far as to Malcom who bends another shot that finds the back of the net. I'm not going to repeat that again.
Not a lot to write about in the 2nd half other than that goal by Malcom. -Great on Jordi using his pace to create danger, Suarez getting off a shot, and Malcom with a difficult, but clean finish. Kind of a redemption for misjudging that cross earlier -Messi, I guess, getting his sea legs under him -Not sure what Alena's strengths are supposed to be -Is it me, or does Coutinho have only one move? I think the only to maximize his skills is just to get him shooting -Semedo is pretty good at keeping the ball under pressure; also created a mini-opportunity for Mess -Lenglet feels so average; I kinda want to see what Murrillo does; he was working a lot in the one game he did play -Raks, Busi, Arthur, Pique doing what they need to do NEED A GOAL IN MADRID.
Despite my saying I'd be satisfied with a clean sheet including a 0-0, I'm not too disappointed in a 1-1. Despite Atletico being Barca's closest challengers in the Liga table I want them to win this weekend. That may help in deciding which Clasico it would be preferable to see the strongest starting XI in three weeks: Copa second leg or Liga 3-4 days later.
It's weird to hear Barca officials say Messi is 100% but then not start him in a game this big. If he played from the beginning, he would have maybe found a rhythm and could have changed the outcome? He actually looked like 50% of himself at best when he came off the bench. I am worried that he may actually have an injury. If he does they should just say it so I don't get my hopes sky high for his season which I'm kind of doing. Props to Malcolm. He was terrific, our best player in this match with his run and of course the crucial goals. Pique is in the running for MOTM as well. He made a few huge defensive plays. He was sharp which we can't always say about him. Alba and Arhur had good games. Lenglet was bad, Rakitic was bad, and Suarez was bad. Others were pretty meh.
