That Barca LB is so out of his league, only one actually showing maturity is Vidal.

Coutinho loves that shot too much. Everybody knows he is going to cut right and curl it. Needs to mix it up.

The referee is so biased that it could define the word in dictionary.

About time Barça got knocked out from this useless trophy which drains too much energy.

    Love the defence lineup!

Helmond Cup in danger, even though we play Levante again next Thursday, in between Levante plays at Atletico Madrid...

Well treble is the biggest thing in football, but I don't think we have the legs for it anymore.

To be honest much of the game hasn't any worse than the Getafe game or some of the poorer La Liga games this season.

With a significant winter break, four less league matches and one-off cup ties for every round, it's amazing Bayern, Dortmund and the Bundesliga as a whole don't dominate Europe the way La Liga has the past few years.
I'm guessing number of matches played in January/February has little to do with it.

That could've been 3-0 with that 1vs1 ... great job Craperto ... why the hell was he brought in as left back ffs , he is even worse than Miranda in that position

Word is that Valverde wants a back up LB in case Alba is injured, and doesn't think Miranda is ready. Probably there is some push back from the board and bean counters to get by with Miranda or "just play Roberto or one of the left footed CBs there", so Valverde may want to see if Roberto can play there and/or show the board that no, he cannot, so buy me a suitable back up already.

Man ... that shot from Dembele was so relaxed it looked like he really didn't care about scoring.

Glad that Coutinho took it... and scored.

Goal scoring streak for the club continues at 36 consecutive matches (all competitions).
    And a HUGE away goal.

OK, I started writing this before we scored:

Accepted that we lose today (including Helmond Cup, which Levante had for 1 game once before), but an away goal would sure be nice. Even without an away goal though 2-0 is reversible and we'll probably put out a pretty strong squad to try to do just that.

Wouldn't it be better to rotate a little less in this first leg, so we could rotate in both legs, result could be just as much overall rest.
