So if it's 50/75 for most seats, that would mean they aren't increasing the price for the individual tickets. The Venue passes for Philly were 150/225 for 3 games. I'd be kind of pissed if I had bought a venue pass. Even if you want to go to all the games at that stadium, you aren't really getting any sort of deal. Maybe you at least get charged less in ticket master fees since it's one purchase instead of three, but that's it.
I will be squealing with delight when all the StubHub gougers have to drop their insane asking prices. Something tells me I will still be dropping a hefty chunk of change to sit in a decent seat.
Got my individual game ticket for US v Colombia this morning, for $218 + fees. Section 112 (almost midfield). I know stubhub or resale would have panned out eventually with the way prices were dropping, but nice not to have the worries of not going rolling around in me head for a few months.
Yeah, for the Colombia game it took like 5-10 minutes for the site to work right for me. It kept showing a $5, 000 ticket every time I searched
Just picked up 8 tickets for my group for the USA Colombia game in SF: Section 209 for $118+fees. Pricey, yes, but it is the opening game of an international tournament in the US, so not completely unreasonable (at least for these specific tickets). Can't wait! USA!
Don't feel bad, I paid $218, gulp. The way I reason it out is I usually go to LA whenever we play a friendly and the gas+hotel+food+ticket+general pain in the butt of driving to LA make this purchase a steal.
Just got 6 for my group for the Philly game. I had planned on trying to get seats as close to the supporter's section as possible, but the site wouldn't let you use the map to pick. Looked like most of those sections were just about sold out anyway. Decided on the mezzanine (specifically M13) for 75 a piece. The view doesn't look too bad at all.
Also, does anyone know the site lines for the top row of the club section at Levi's? It extends through the aisle. Assuming there are some railings in front, but don't know how obtrusive. BTW, for all the "high tech" BS the 49ers spewed about Levi's, their website is lacking good seating view technology. Nice work Jed (again!).
Google section + Levi Stadium and you should get some nice, real pictures. I have seen some simulated views but they seem to make the view look better than it really is. Some of the real pic views from the club section look kinda far. I sat in section 135 when the Quakes played Orlando was a decent view. Don't even bother with level 400 (and maybe 300)--I've read some reviews where people say they have to watch the whole game on the big screen. As far as buying now--well I have been monitoring Stubhub for over a month now and the ticket prices have been ranging from outrageous to a little above face value. I think they will go down to face value or below, but not until very close to game day.
has anyone who bought venue passes received actual tickets yet? any word on when that is supposed to occur?
Anyone know what sales are looking like so far? The electronic billboards in Chicago are advertising single game tix, so I can't imagine it's anything close to sold out.
Yeah, I looked at a few Chicago games last week and it's not good. The idea that they're going to get Bears prices in the 400 level is loony. Gonna have 30,000 at these games at these prices. I also don't think they're even selling the 300 level on every side except the west.
I looked and I assume that the cheapest tickets went as venue passes. Of all the games I feel like I'm most likely to go to Jamaica vs Venezuela because people with venue passes are going to be trying to dump those on the super cheap.
