Getting pushed around by US best defender. He can't do anything with so many defenders around him. He needs a Caicedo/Ayovi/Angulo next to him to be successful.
I don't know if anyone has been paying attention to Carlos Gruezo, but the kid has been pressing really well and making plays uncomfortable in the midfield for the US. Few steals and interceptions here and there, but his presence is felt. I'm liking him over Noboa today. Looks like he's coming out his shell. I like this. Arroyo doesn't do well as second striker. I like him coming off the bench more. More of a fan of Fidel or Jaime starting. Arroyo and Cazares to me should've been kept for the second half. The question is....do we put in Jaime? or Fidel/Cazares? I'm in doubt now. I think Quinteros screwed it up by starting Arroyo. But then again Jaime wasn't at 100% so what can you do? I miss Miller right now. There' s a lack of creativity behind Enner.
I think he went to cover woods who made the run up because Erazo was none exsistant then woods made a pass back then the cross. Erazo let Woods run past him. So I cant blame Mina for trying to cover him. He has been such a threat. But I will have too look at it again too.
If healthy, Yoya should've started. Big mistake starting Arroyo. Would've been a mistake starting Juanito too. Ayovi or Fidel was the go-to for starters.
Crosses wont work since they are taller, Enner feels like a kid playing with grown ups. The day Noboa and Arroyo are having we are not getting long shots. US is too orgsnized to wall pass ourselves in.
He's been doing that the whole tournament, thought nobody had noticed. These are the two good outcomes of this tournament, MINA and GRUEZO. Can def see them starting in the qualifiers

I think there's a good 2 or 3 times I got pissed at Antonio b/c he doesn't have a left foot either. SO ANNOYING!!! freaking cross or shoot with your left dammit!! Most annoying thing ever.
By going through the middle we need a big body upfront to the take pressure off the second forward (Enner). It's going to be tough to do this without a big forward or Miller who is very creative. Sucks.

Now Yoya can't come on. Only move we can do that's smart is Cazares over Fidel. Fidel is more of a second striker. But Cazares can play the entire field. I'm sure Quinteros knows this.
