It could be the surprise (just like in the WC) seen as they're so close, they're almost the second home team :D

Uruguayos always eager to post historic stats:D;)

I think Argentina will win it because they are the host and have good talent.

I am hopping for someone else to win it though.

That was very disappointing, with Maradona playing, and being world champions and all. They don't have a Francéscoli though.

that semifinal was historic. The play was made by Enzo and scored by Alzamendi, who both felt like they were playing at home in El Monumental. Enzo was playing in France, but he had already won the top scorer in Argentina with River twice, in 1984 and 1986. Alzamendi had in 1986 scored the goal that made River world champions. Just a few months before this match, Alzamendi scored a famous goal against Boca in El Monumental that was very similar to the one he scored against Argentina. I know many River fans who wanted Uruguay to win against Maradona

especially considering how strong this brazil team is. while it has struggled lately, the addition of pato and ganso will be a tremendous boost.

i still would probably give the edge to argentina because they are the host. but there will be immense pressure on them -- been the favorites the past 2 times and have not won. and they havent won an international title in almost 20 years (olympics excluded).

Para mi Argentina gana si o si. A la buena, o a la mala :D
