Does anybody else think that the next Copa America , will be one of the best???, since pretty much Everyone failed their Objectives for this WC, and the others failed to qualify, I think that everyone is in desperate need to have a good tournament and everyone will probably take this one pretty seriously.

they will have the weakest group..host nations usually do

    so probably something like

    Venezuela
    Bolivia
    Peru
    Chile/Colombia/Costa Rica

    or something like that

You can't possible bielieve they will give them a group like that, they have to throw at least one team that made it to the WC, and having Peru en Bolivia together ? I never seen a group like that in any competition.

Apparently you didn't watch the last Copa America. But it is a trend, the host usually gets the weaker teams. Bolivia is almost a given, and the rest will probably include Peru, Chile, Costa Rica (Are they participating this time around) or possibly Colombia.

Apparently not, I didn't pay enough attention to the other groups I guess, As for the Copa america the funniest thing is that as soon as the Sweeden Scored the goal in the 89th minute , the first thing that poped into my head was, at least Copa America 07 is coming up, then I was watching the Argentina-Germany game with a bunch of Argentinian friends and after the shock of losing, one of them said well.. Copa America is coming up, and today I was talking with a Brazilian that also said the same thing. so this could be an interesting Copa America, I don't see Brazil sending a C team or Argentina skipping it , or PY not having all their starters.

Yea, but this time around they are hosting.

    Venezuela
    Bolivia
    Peru
    Chile

This is what the group will most likely look like.

And as others mentioned, I hope that this Copa is better than the last few, although last years was ok, since the final was good (Bra-Arg). But in general, not much was in play.

Would it be possible for FIFA to allow some type of "reward", in terms of points that go towards WCQ's.? or something else, I can't think clearly right now, but there have to be ways to atleast give the teams "reason" to perform.

I agree with you about the group of Venezuela (I'm sure Costa Rica and Bolivia will be send to the vinotinto group).

The arreglín (sorry, the "draws") will be made between december and february:

I'd take those odds for Colombia! There is a huge Colombian contingency that lives in Venezuela. They'll feel like playing at home (except when they play vs Venezuela of course)

I have to agree with that (I'm from Venezuela)
The organizer have to make sure that Colombia plays on the other side of the country.

If Colombia plays in San Cristobal or Maracaibo, Colombia is going to be playing at home.
Colombia could easily have 70-90% of the fans in the stadium.
