Terrence and Mckinze Gaines both start on the bench as Darmstadt host Julian Green and Furth in Germany 2Liga

And the 10 Minute Man made his appearance at the 83' mark. So it's 10 minutes again, counting the injury time. Five minutes left for him to touch the ball. And in the 90' he touched the ball! It's for a backpass, but it's something. Other games he doesn't touch the ball at all. And again at 92', but his pass went to the rival's defender. And it's over: one of his better games, touched the ball twice and completed a pass. Hertha goes though 2-0, the last play of the game had three Hertha players vs. the Darmstadt keeper, shooting again and again at his body. It was comic relief.

Next week on November 29, he’s opening up his own Cafe in Mannheim called Boyd’s. Looks cool In 2 Wochen eröffnet das @CAFEBOYDS in der Mannheimer Fressgasse pic.twitter.com/iZzQqFoAZW— Terrence Boyd (@TBoyd91) November 15, 2018 1063005467281182720 is not a valid tweet id
Inspired on his career, his café will only open twice a month, at random times, and only for 10 minutes each time.

Köln is the best team in the 2.BuLi, so Darmstadt just rested some starters because they knew they were going to lose anyway.
lol no. Dursun the main striker wasn't fit. But Boyd's Darmstadt career seems to be getting closer to the end. He only renewed his contract for one more season. And Felix Platte who has been injured for half a year and cameback in today's game has been said by his coach to not being able to play starter/full game until likely post break. It's why Boyd is even getting chances.
And Wurtz who normally doesn't start, started today. They had several non-regs start today. It's what I was saying. As for Boyd, not sure if he plans to keep playing after his contract is done. With his injury history, who'd blame him for retiring at 28.
more like the regular Mehlem hasn't done squat all season, so Wurtz was given a chance. maybe Boyd will try his luck in MLS. If he barely does anything this season (almost halfway through) would be hard to see another 2BL team interested.
Unlikely. a) Boyd has lived his entire life in Germany/Austria, people like that don't move away just because; b) MLS for all its limitations is a physical league, where an unfit/injury-prone player is unlikely to do well or last; c) He doesn't have name recognition, only the most fanatical followers of the USMNT can come up with his name --why would a MLS team offer him a contract, not even a good contract?
a) not just b/c - might be better for his career see BWP b) no telling how he would hold up in MLS c) most importantly - he wouldn't take up a foreign slot - cant overstate how valuable that could be to an MLS team.
Plus, Terrence has said he wants to play in MLS. Certainly now that he has a family (though if he isn't married it becomes more complicated to move to the US), he may have changed his plans, but he is probably the best prepared of the German-Americans to come to the US.
not surprising but in the game he started. Was said he was strong in aeriel duals but very weak in combination.
I think the issue will be more about compensation than anything else. I don't see him accepting anything less than 250K/yr but I am not sure many teams will want to pay him that (I can see 175K max).
salaries dont make much sense in MLS, imo....75k is nothing when you look at how much some players are making vs. production.... also, look at Picault - basically didnt really stick in BL2 and this season in MLS he was 5th leading american goalscorer, and highest american midfield goalscorer in the league. even though Boyd isn't playing much in BL2 at the moment, I think he could do well in MLS - no guarantees though.
