Are you telling me that Frings had them on pace for back to back relegations?

When Darmstadt sacked him, they were in 16th with 18 points from 17 games. So not quite on pace, but signs weren't great.

Yet Frings will get another coaching job soon because Good Old Boys networks exist everywhere.

    update from kicker.

    translation
Darmstadt striker Terrence Boyd's contract expires at the end of June. So far, it did not look as if the SVD would want to hold the 27-year-old attacker. "I look around, what else is there, but of course Darmstadt is also an option," Boyd does not close the door yet. "I'm going on a short break now, after which I'll see which prospects my advisor brings to light and lead another conversation with Darmstadt 98."

Boyd scored twice in a 5-2 win vs a OL/5th division team.

I'm curious to see if Darmstadt will survive relegation or not. Last season for a good period of time, they were close to going down. Would have been horrible had they gotten relegation as that would have been double relegation in 2 consecutive seasons.

Shame there's no footage of his cyclops celebration from the pre-season friendly.

St. Pauli score again, in the 85', finished 2-0. Didn't see Boyd touch the ball.

Not sure if it's worth merging them at this point but I was wondering how long he'd had a thread here. It'll be a decade in March.

    Thread 1:
    https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/terrence-boyd-at-hertha-berlin.981054/#post-17277888

I believe that one includes the first record of his contact by U.S. Soccer, spotted in a German article by a poster named @Balotelli.

    Thread 2:
    https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/terrence-boyd-signs-for-borussia-dortmund-ii.1741733/

(There are others but I believe these are the more substantial ones...)
