Shut the f%*k up!! I get where you're coming from (I had the same reaction) but since he's recovered well enough to be playing - unless the doctors missed something when they cleared him to play, or are missing something now - there's no more risk to him doing that than any other player.* * My wife is a doctor. She's acquired rather more knowledge of sports injuries than she's happy with since we married

Yes. Based on performance stats, especially the number of start-and-went-90s, Gyau will be picked up by someone at the higher end of BL3 or better. Boyd is in a different position given his general lack of PT over the season. I'm generally ambivalent, to put it mildly, about players of his age with knee problems moving to MLS, but in his case it may be worth it financially and with his journalism degree he could reasonably expect to get media work in the US to top up his income/prepare for retirement early.
If Boyd were to get an offer with an MLS team, he should absolutely take it. I am not sure what offers will be there. Maybe for a backup role on a team that doesn't play on turf.
Boyd only spent a few years in the USA as a baby/toddler, I don't see him coming to MLS unless he cannot get a paycheck any other way. And I'm sure he can always get a paycheck in Germany, even if it means going to the Regionalleagues.
I mean, he does have the American flag tattooed on his arm, so I wouldn't be so quick to assume that.
Quality of life? Silverware? European football? I get your point, but the Championship is one of the better-paying leagues in the world (around 8-10th best, apparently), and even bottom-feeders (esp. the bigger clubs trying to stay relevant) can easily pay 500k - Sterling, that is, not Euros or Dollars. A guy who can't get a gig in BL2 is very unlikely to be picked up in the Championship, for the simple reason that Championship sides shopping in Germany can afford and will pick up established BL2 promotion challenger players. It's sad, because the guy is genuinely likeable and has battled back from a crapton of injuries, but there's not a great deal of evidence that he was much more than than a very promising BL3 player, even when he was at his peak.
I could see him commanding 150-200K in MLS....probably a bit more than he could command in 3Liga so it might be a personal decision if he wants to come to MLS. I think if its a major metro area he would really consider it.

didn't score or assist but his shot that was paried by the keeper for Kempe to score and give them the 1-0 lead. https://streamable.com/zn2pe
So, if im understanding correctly after today's results Kaiserlautern and Braunschweig are relegated and then Aue is in the relegation playoff spot?
yes that's the end result. now we'll see what happens to Boyd he has a Summer 2018 contract and yet to renew.

Let the end of this season provide us with two lessons: 1) Sometimes you really do need to change the manager. An unbeaten stretch of 11 games to end the season, including 3 wins to close it out, is remarkable. 2) Torsten Frings is the absolute goddamn worst.
