I'm no fan of flogging your players in public except in the most obvious of circumstances such as public drunkenness, wife beating, drug usage and the like. But for underperforming on the pitch...that's out of bounds.
Why Jose scolds players publicly. www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-news-jose-mourinho-12943598
I'm no fan of either Smalling and Jones, but that is some ludicrous shit to say. This is the typical Mourinho bullshit. Siege mentality, throw a couple players under the bus, etc. He does the same shit at every single club, and we knew he'd do it here. This is the shit you get when you sign up with him.
Mourinho: "I've restored happiness at Manchester United (except on the United BigSoccer board)" www.bbc.com/sport/football/39748686
No, not "delicate snowflakes', but there's proper criticism and improper criticism of one's players. As you're in the #JoseOut camp it's odd that you defend Jose for committing a cardinal offense of criticizing players for not playing through an injury. Wasn't it Smalling who had a broken toe and tried to play through it for the Chelsea match and he got, well, eviscerated?
No he shouldn't. It's that sort of behavior which led to his demise in Madrid and it definitely was the cause of his exit at Chelsea. You simply do not call out players in such a fashion in public. It's demeaning, humiliating and does not inspire respect or loyalty.
#JoseOut! No more excuses. CL qualification through the league has been squandered and is now out of our hands. His transfer activity and squad management has been a complete failure. Our style of play and performance level is unacceptable.
I am not saying I agree with his tactics or management style. But don't you think those would have worked with a decent squad?. What he has is a bunch of guys who are may be good enough for a bottom club.
Hearing him continue to bleat on about minutes is annoying. The man has given Pogba nearly no rest, sold 2 squad midfielders, and only rotated his backline whenever injury forced him to. And he's complaining about the same sort of fixture lists all top clubs have to deal with. If he can't handle this many games a season, then go find yourself a lower league club Jose.
Poll: Will Mou introduce a youth player (reserves/u18) in a EPL game this season or until the end of his tenure? (Mensah/Lingard do not count. Someone he is bringing up from the youth team). I genuinely think he won't.
Depends on how the EL and PL go. If we make it to the EL final and are out of contention for the top 4, I could see him fielding damn near an entire youth team against palace in the last game with the EL final being only 4 days later.
Jose could and probably will play a complete youth side in the last game of the season vs Palace, if United are in the EL final. He's already made that crystal clear...
i still don't like jose criticise players, it works on some players but not all. some will have negative impact on them
Even further than just a negative impact, with some of the things he's said about some players very publicly, some of them could possibly not want to play under him any longer. Unless of course, that might have been his goal in part. Really don't put anything past him to be perfectly honest, either way...
At the Swansea post-match press conference he mentioned the possibility of fielding our entire reserve team if required and said he hoped that Crystal Palace would already be safe by that point.
I came up with that question before I even read the article. But after this season, I doubt and highly that we will ever promote a youth while he is a manager.
How many of you think this is true? Jose Mourinho's Manchester United mantra is to prime fans for failure http://www.skysports.com/football/n...er-united-mantra-is-to-prime-fans-for-failure
