Not also. Just. There is only a Qanada paralympic soccer team - the team you are going to field this summer.

    @Moaca
Qanada even loses the loser cup against Uefa's whipping boy team England. Cheers!

The trick is to beat teams when it matters, especially ones used for qualification for other big tournaments like this one:

The Inselaffen didnt get qualified. They were hosts. Loser host playing other loser host does not have any value. Every time Im thinking about Qanada and Blatter I think...

Wow that's impressive. Nice to see countries contributing so much to the global game and global sporting body. No wonder they won the bid.

Did the bad dark skinned man with the robe and the big wallet spill your milk? I'm sure if you go straight to the UN they'll confirm your Euro-centric view of the world is accurate and immediately repatriate things..

Dark-skinned? How would that be possible growing up in middle Europe? Projecting your character onto others a bit?

Ahhh yes, the segue and change the argument. This new German philosophy is so advanced. No quotes from Kant or Nietzsche to go with it?

Well for sure artificial couldnt happen over here since our constitution is based on human dignity. And most of this concept derives from Kant. With turf Canada purposefully sends players to a greater risk of getting injured. So if we follow this logic we can say Canada violates the human dignity of all 23 female players of all 24 teams.

    Germany Basic Law Art. 1
"Human dignity shall be inviolable. To respect and protect it shall be the duty of all state authority."

Charter of fundamental rights of the European Union Art. 1
"Human dignity is inviolable. It must be respected and protected."

The universal declaration of human rights Art. 1
"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."

Seems like Qanada never had their Kant. Im also working on a song about the arctic wasteland argument.

That's better. I think the rule is if you're going to segue on an argument at least quote one philosopher.
Uhm. I think we should probably change the topic.

"What? This is a World Cup qualifier and we're playing on turf? Don't they know I am Thomas Müller? I feel violated by a mannschaft this big."

    FIFA - Sepp, Oh'Really

    Sent on to the fields
    of shady backroom deals
The best had to risk their living
    Women lost the fight
    Tried as they might
    Nevermind them getting injured

    Don't cry
    Don't raise your eye
    It's only arctic wasteland

    Sepp, take my hand
    No dignity in this land
    Who even needs that?
Just don't look past your shoulder
    The exodus is here
    The profits are so near
    No matter what they say
It's time for grass to smolder

    Arctic wasteland
    It's only arctic wasteland
    Acrtic wasteland
    Oh, oh
    Arctic wasteland
    It is all wasted!

You can really feel the mood building in the country. The press is starting to pick up, people on the streets are starting to talk about it, teams are planning friendlies here and there, etc. One of the local clubs received a free 2-star turf pitch from FIFA this week to be used for training during the tournament as a legacy infrastructure donation. Everywhere I look people are pitching in and getting ready to support the tournament and it's amazing to see.

It will be interesting to see if it's a year of upsets or the top teams into the semi's. Women's football is traditionally the usual suspects but the talent band is thinning. The bigger group stage will put everyone through who should go through but after that it's dicey. And for European team it's a qualification again for the Olympics so double-heartbreak to anyone who puts in a bad day at the office after the group stage.
