Here are the Top 10 in CONCACAF in the October 2014 FIFA Rankings and their change in ranking among all countries:

    1. Costa Rica (down 1)
    2. Mexico (down 1)
    3. USA (down 6)
    4. Trinidad and Tobago (up 37)
    5. Panama (down 1)
    6. Honduras (down 13)
    7. Antigua and Barbuda (up 10)
    8. Guatemala (down 15)
    9. Dominican Republic (up 27)
    10. El Salvador (down 10)

Jamaica is down to 14th in CONCACAF. I tried copying and pasting from FIFA's website and it didn't work well.

Not many games were played so there were not many changed in the December 2014 FIFA Rankings. Here are the Top 10 in CONCACAF and their change among all countries:

    16. Costa Rica (even)
    20. Mexico (even)
    27. USA (up 1 due to Cote d'Ivoire falling, USA's points remained the same)
    55. Trinidad and Tobago (down 1)
    57. Panama (down 1)
    71. Honduras (up 1)
    72. Guatemala (up 1)
    73. Haiti (down 4)
    75. Jamaica (down 4)
    90. El Salvador (up 3)

FIFA lists Honduras and Guatemala as tied for 71st even though values to two decimal places are now provided and they are tied when rounded to the nearest whole number but not exactly tied.

In the January 8 rankings, there are two virtual ties in the top 8 of Concacaf, although since Fifa includes two decimal points in their rankings now, there are slight differences in both of the matchups.

Yeah its not always gonna be perfect, Canada is indeed missing (switch them with Haiti). But its pretty close, and Trinidad inflates itself by picking on poor Caribbean teams.

The drop for Costa Rica is because last year's World Cup is now halved: http://www.fifa.com/fifa-world-rank...ntina-knock-germany-off-top-spot-2661992.html

If you look at the column for this year's (last 12 months') results, it's T-and-T in the pole position, then Jamaica, and Mexico just slightly ahead of USA:

I missed the change in the men's ranking calculations. When did FIFA reduce CONCACAF's weighting factor to equal OFC's weight? Meanwhile UEFA and CONMEBOL are at 99 and 100, respectively. Everyone else is weighted at 85 now. The associaton factor is critical in calculations because, for instance, France would receive more points for beating Mexico than the US would receive for beating Mexico. So it gives European teams an increased advantage for every game they play, not just intra-UEFA matches. Despite CONCACAF's performance in 2014, this will make it unlikely that 2018 seeds will come from any of the other conferences.

See Page 2 of http://resources.fifa.com/mm/document/fifafacts/r&a-wr/52/00/97/fs-590_10e_wrpoints_english.pdf and the weightings are changed after every World Cup.

So the answer is last August. Thanks Evan. Interesting that FIFA allowed UEFA to fall below 1 for the first time. In 2010 they privately changed the formula so that UEFA would not drop below 1, but that still resulted in most associations scoring above the minimum. Not true now. I wonder if they changed the formula again. I do see now that when they changed the formula, it also reduced the prior ratings in the prior years still active in the calculation.

When teachers grade students and the majority of students are graded below the minimum score, they usually figure something is wrong with the grading system.

Then FIFA's solution to CONCACAF's performance at the 2014 finals is to half their weight! If I were UEFA and CONMEBAL, I would be embarrassed at this obviously rigged rating system.

You make it sound like the change in weight was done because of CONCACAF's World Cup performance. It was known before World Cup 2014 when the weight would be cut in half and the weight being cut in half affected all participants. Champions Germany lost a lot of points.

Here are the Top 10 in CONCACAF in the August 2015 FIFA Rankings:

    26. Mexico (up 14)
    29. USA (up 5)
    38. Costa Rica (up 3)
    55. Jamaica (up 21, the most places in the world)
    56. Trinidad and Tobago (up 8)
    65. Panama (down 3)
    81. Honduras (down 1)
    84. Haiti (down 5)
    101. Canada (up 2)
    105. Antigua and Barbuda (up 2)

CFU has more teams in the Top 10 in CONCACAF than UNCAF. Bahamas's wins on July 2 and 9, 2011 in WCQs dropped out of the rankings, and they join Anguilla as the two CONCACAF countries with 0 points.
