A lot of the people making these predictions will probably disappear from BigSoccer in 10 years or whenever their prediction is supposed to happen.
That's already happened with posters from 1999 who said the mml will be #1 in CONCACAF by 2005. And the 2003 posters who said it will happen by 2007. And the 2007 posters who said it will happen by 2010. Still, it's good to expose them to the next generation so maybe, possibly, they can learn a small lesson. Here's a new prediction: He says Jozy will turn it around in 2 months.

Not sure if this is a much of a prediction but I give Carlos Vela a 75-80% chance of him being at the 2018 World Cup. There is always risk of injury, but also that the FMF or who ever is the Mexican coach by then to fvck it up by being too demanding. Vela es grande and deserves the respect and admiration of the Mexican National team and the federation, they have to treat him well and with allow him to be the way he is, if the FMF can do that, Vela will reward them with his presence in the NT. Don't bother him too much with partidos moleros and such. I remember that 2009 Gold Cup final, Vela came in in the second half and between him and Gio they just smacked the shit of that USA team.

Supremacy in the Gold Cup for the US and to a lesser extent Mexico comes largely from playing at home 100% of the games, so I wouldn't put much stock on that.

us97 just can't stop predicting despite his losing track record... So if Klinny isn't gone by 2016, you will be wrong. Also, if the nads go 3&out at the 2016CA, then that isn't much better than they are now, so you'll be wrong again. Even 1&out in the KOs may make you wrong as well, depending on performance and opponent.
