monterrey 2-0 salt lake salt lake 0-2 monterrey monterrey 4-0 salt lake monterrey ends their undefeated home streak
There have been a few reports of Humberto Suazo needing surgery on his left shoulder that would keep him out a couple weeks. If reports are true this is a pretty major blow for Monterrey's offense: http://www.am.com.mx/Nota.aspx?ID=469526 Going on this information here is my preidiction: RSL 1 @ 2 Monterrey Monterrey 1 @ 3 RSL RSL wins 4-3 on aggregate. Either way I think this tie is going to be a lot closer than some people think. I really can't see a 4-0 aggregate or something of that nature.
Can someone tell me why RSL closes at home?? And Monterrey, seems to really want this cup so i dont see much competition there Basanta, Mier, Zavala, Cardozo, Ayovi, De Nigris, Suazo, Osvaldito... that right there..playing at the top of their level wont have a problem with RSL. Mty takes it 3-1 on agreggate. RSL gets 1 goal at home..
He will probably play though...my cousins from MTY all mentioned that the team is being pressured to pretty much ass rape RSL...if it doesnt shit will hit the fan...MTY press and fans pressures the shit outta their teams... So i doubt they will let their best man sit out on this game....
If I remember correctly it is a shoulder injury, I do not think they will risk him unless they have to, he will probably not start and only come in if the game is tied or if RSL scores first. If the game is close after Monterrey, then yes he would probably start in the second game.
Monterrey will win easily because they are stronger technically they play much better than rsl but rsl's physical strengh will annoy monterrey. I hope rsl will do everything to maintain the suspense that's all they can for this final
^^^ One Haitian leaves this forum, then another one enters. Interesting. ---------------- Bwin had RSL as 3-1 underdog over the weekend. Now it's down to 2-1.
Good thing they can choose whether or not they want to "ass rape" RSL by inserting one player and playing hard, like there isn't even an opponent to consider. I hope the players feel this false sense of superiority. thanks for your "almost guarantee", I'm sure you and your cousins are experts on the inner working of the human shoulder. Regardless of if Suazo plays or not, you haven't a clue what you're talking about, and you should quit embarrassing yourself. Yeah, let's blame Chuck Blazer. Typical assumptions of American teams and Mexican teams here. One is physical and one is technically superior..yawn. How about you guys try to watch an actual game, you know, like the one where RSL ISN'T a physical side at all. They move the ball very well and it is key to their winning ways.
"Monterrey will win easily" <-- FACT? So now you are certain of what the future holds? You guys are going to be in for a rude awakening come next week.
Well...seems to me the press is doing its job by making sure the players know that this game is important and there is no fkn way in hell they should loose. They are the better team, its common sense...if you are the better team you have the pressure to win, no if's and no but's No im no expert, but its not the first or last time a player has played injured, im sure your having a hard time understanding how much this game means to MTY... RSL doesnt have a fkn chance let me add JW to the fkn list...those 2 pieces of shit have no business running the confederation, their only interest is for MLS and no one else... You going to tell me he isnt right??? cause if you are, then im sorry but you have no fkn clue...i dont even have to look at RSL to know MTY is the far superior team, no doubt... Who is RSL?
Actually I would say Monterrey is physically superior to RSL, Monterrey I think is the tallest team in Mexico.
well i can tell you RSL knows a hell of a lot more about monterrey, and no they wont "fkn" embarrass themselves either. RSL is a very technical team that will maintain possession for long periods of time. they utterly DOMINATED saprissa and Cruz Azul at home, neither team had a chance in those games. i CAN guarantee you that monterrey will be very hard pressed to score more than 1 goal against RSL in a game, they just dont give up multiple goals easily. not only was RSL the best defensive team in MLS history last year, but they also were the best offensive team in the league and set a league record for goal differential. you think its a ********ing fluke teams like club america, everton, saprissa (twice), cruz azul, and other mexican teams have failed to get a result in Salt Lake? well then you have a lot to learn about RSL son. they have an incredible home field advantage, they have not lost there in 2 years and 36 matches. monterrey wont walk in and get an easy game. i hope the team is as ********in cocky as you, they'll be in for a damn rude awakening when RSL stands up and punches then in the face.
RSL struggled with the local bee-keeper union team in a friendly. We have no chance, make our time, ha ha ha. Monterrey 37, RSL 0.
1-1 in Monteray 3-1 for RSL in Salt Lake City. If my math skills have not failed me I think that is 4-2 RSL. History has been kind to Mexican Soccer agianst the teams of the United States, but like our National Team, that Mexican run is over. I can assure you of this: There may be some stupid fans on this board downplaying the chances of Real Salt Lake but I would be surprissed if the Monteray coaches would be this foolish.
Respuesta: Re: CONCACAF Champions League Final: Real Salt Lake vs. Monterrey Vucetich is a seasoned coach... you can like how his teams play or not, but can't deny he gets results... he has won 7 finals of 7, Monterrey's still unbeaten in the CCL, just 2 draws, the rest have been victories (RSL also have a good record in this CCL, but they have lost 2 times)... so I think you're the ones downplaying Vucetich's experience...
