No word on Room, so I doubt he plays, but Díaz was with the team on Saturday so hopefully we see him for some minutes.

    Team still stinks.
Smart, handsome people don't like Porter, and mongoloids think he needs more time/players.
    Jack was banned. Again.
What the hell is Bezbatchenko doing?!?
    Some eh to intriguing signings.
The war on @hangthadj continues to rage.
@Ch(Elsey) had some lovely vacation time.
The team, like, is sooooo bad.
    Goodbye, Robinho.
    Hello, liver failure.
    Missing @puttputtfc.
Is Spanish or German more useful?
    @Kyle Crew still a stupidface.
    @hardhead still makes sick mixes.
    @Bill Archer may be grumpy.
Did I mention that we're bad at soccer?
How mad should we be about the WWC?
Our IM mastered the @cleazer tease.
Is Columbus on a hill, plain, or mountain?
    @Draghignazzo becomes a memelord, kinda.
@Hamburgler03 and the best damn TAAAilgate.
    @Grouchy gets his first Grouchy™.
Like, really, are we even playing soccer?
Mike DeWine: to boo or not to boo
    Austin sucks, too.
    Caleb "Blame Factory" Porter
Where were you when we were shit?

@chr1st remains to be very clever and devastatingly good-looking.

    So, you know, nothing.

    Welcome back!

Both players can train with the club, but can't play until their work visas come through. Have you seen anything that confirms that Diaz (or Room for that matter) is actually cleared to play?

Should I drive to Chicago for this game?

(I obviously wouldn't be expecting a Crew win or anything to get excited about, I'd just be there to support the team.)

3 game week, so we can probably expect a bunch of new starters out there, right?

    I mean, it's not like we've got a "best 11" anyway.

It's a 4-3-3. Santos and Accam are wingers, not forwards. Lots of teams play with 4 in the back and a single DM.

No kidding the Crew have trouble scoring goals. Thus the proposal to play a more balanced formation than our single forward who isn't very efficient at finishing.

Dude, how is the hell is this balanced? Also, a 4-3-3 has 3 CMs. Seriously, do you even know what a 4-3-3 is? LOL. Especially when Afful and Francis attack more than they defend? Who the hell is ever gonna win the ball back? It's nonsense.

Thank you. Although I'm sure I missed a few things like the Massive Report Porter Shill article and Fat Guzman. Feel free to add to the list and help our boy out.

Santos/Accam are better 2 way players than Guzman and Artur, neither of whom contributes offensively.
You're content with out current lineup with Zardes up top and 2 or 3 DMs in front of the backline? To hold down the margin of defeat?

@Kyle Crew and @POdinCowtown arguing over the 4-3-3 when we all know CB9K just needs to roll out the 1-6-3. Let's get weird, boys!

    THE GOALS WILL COME!*

    *definitely not just for us.

    Afful Crognale Keita Francis
    Trapp Sosa Argudo
    Winger Zardes Sosa

Trapp and Argudo the deeper players, but concentrate on forming those CM triangles.

I do wonder if Crognale might be done with Porter, didn't make the 18 in Orlando. But we don't have any other healthy center backs, so....

Asking Sosa to play two positions seems a bit much.

Damn! Santos, Sosa, what's the difference? Neither will do much and we'll lose the game.

I was thinking of a jokey 5-3-5 formation where we just play all of our available players, clog the field and still can't score.

If we’re making up fantasy lineups:

    4-4-2 (Flat)

    ——————-Room
    Afful—-Mensah—-Keita—-Francis
    Santos—-Trapp—-Artur—-Accam
    —— R. Williams—-Zardes

    4-4-2 (Diamond)

    ——————Room
    Afful—-Mensah—-Keita—-Francis
    ——————Artur
    Hansen————————-Accam
    ——————Santos
    ——-R. Williams—- Zardes

    3-5-2

    ———————-Room
    —-Mensah—-Crognale—-Keita
    Afful——Trapp——Artur——Francis
    ——————-Santos
    ———R. Williams—-Zardes

    3-4-3

    ———————-Room
    —Mensah—-Crognale—-Keita
    Afful—-Trapp—-Artur—-Francis
    ——Santos——Zardes——Accam

    I’ll take any of those.

Looks like we'll see Diaz but not Room or Hamilton.
Expect Sauro, Williams, and Guzman to be out, too.

It's nice when the excuse for the poor performance is laid out a day before match. Let's get our 50 crosses, 12 corners, 10 shots (1 on goal) over with and hope for a 0-0 draw.

    How about a 9-0-0-1?
    ------------------------------------------Bendik------------------------------------------
    Afful--Argudo--Sosa--Trapp--Keita--Crognale--Artur--Jimenez--Francis
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ------------------------------------------Zardes------------------------------------------

Santos gets a break for the 3 game week. I don't really think he brings much to the Big Stern Wall formation anyways. Keita long balls to Zardes for 90 min for the attack. Planned subs: Clark for whichever midfield defender tires first, Diaz for Jimenez and Romario for Zardes.

We only have 2 strikers and two healthy CBS
This is not my line up but rather my best guess

    St Zardes

    Wings : Pedro & Accam

    Mid: does it matter ?
    Trapp & Artur & Sosa
    Back line :
    Francis
    Keita
    Crognale
    Afful

    Gk - Bendik

    Bench
    R Williams
    Jimenez
    Clark
    Kempin
    Díaz
    Hansen
    Maloney
    Argudo

1 bench guy too many i have no idea who sits depends on who is healthy because mostly we have wingers and outside backs
