And playoff tickets even if your card has not yet been charged (they had a pay as you play plan). I was told "you have a contract".
Yeah, it seems to me that a necessary ingredient for the Crew to be a success in Austin would be "Anthony Precourt and his underlings not being dipshits." While I suppose that sort of behavior is possible, why wouldn't they have done it all along in Columbus? No, what we're seeing in Columbus is what we'd see in Austin and however the fans are responding in Columbus is more or less how they'd respond in Austin after the usual year or two of a honeymoon period. The only way one would think that the Austin Crew would be any more successful than the Columbus Crew is if you think that Anthony Precourt and his underlings would suddenly catch a clue and not be ********boys, or if you think that Austin soccer fans would be more forgiving of a team management run by ********boys than Columbus soccer fans are.
The Crew did do a lot less marketing this year than in previous seasons. Some proven draws like buck-a-brat night didn't take place. Maybe it was simply saving money or maybe it was part of a plan.
Precourt has been replaced on the Expansion committee.. Make of that what you will.. New members of MLS Expansion committee; Minnesota's Bill McGuire, Seattle's Joe Roth & Sporting KC's Cliff Illig https://t.co/aQY6wMUC3t pic.twitter.com/ELutjy5ane— Ian Thomas (@byIanThomas) October 19, 2017
Nice support for the Crew I know, I know. Black and gold is different. But I saw the other team logos in support of #SaveTheCrew & had to do it. #Crew96 #CrewSC #Cbus pic.twitter.com/K7F48M8mbr— Chris (@FormerLeafsFan) October 19, 2017 920688467398615040 is not a valid tweet id

It was fun last year for the Mexico game playing geography bee with all my uber drivers. I got Senegeal, Gambia, Nigeria and Guinea in a short weekend.
Is this an unusual change, or do they regularly rotate? Was this scheduled? Who else, if anyone, was changed?
Yeah, if the Crew do move, it won't be Austin's team, it will be Precourt's team. Nobody could possibly forget that so he's almost pre-poisoning the waters down there too.
You'd be surprised what people are willing to forget--eventually. Ask the city of Indianapolis, for one....
Phil Rawlins (Orlando City) was also removed....which is interesting considering Orlando's USL team (that more-or-less became Orlando City) was formerly in Austin.
Real talk. We all knew it from the day he bought the team. Or pretty much most "major league" cities not in the northeast. There have been so many relocations over the last century and a half, accelerating since the mid-20th century as TV pushed leagues into a more national footprint and demographic changes with large swathes of people moving west and south means most markets have relocated teams or even teams that have re-relocated. The Kansas City Chiefs came from Dallas. The Royals were a replacement for the A's who came from Philly and are now in Oakland. The former Cincinnati Royals and current Sacramento Kings were the Kansas City-Omaha Kings then the Kansas City Kings The expansion Kansas City Scouts are now the New Jersey Devils with a year or two as the Colorado Rockies That's just the city I grew up in. The city I've lived in as an adult has one major league team. It's a relocation from Boston via Hartford. Between, I spent a year in a city with an expansion NFL team, but it's current expansion NBA team is a replacement for a previous NBA expansion team that moved to New Orleans.
Finally, I found this on reddit. Been trying to find an email address close to Garber's office. I was just notified by Erica Allen at the commissioner's office that "We will organize the collective responses and share the feedback with Commissioner Garber and our wider executive team." You can reach her to submit your feedback here: O: 212-450-1259 erica.allen@mlssoccer.com Remember, this is a staff person and not a decision maker. Please be polite. Thanks! If said attorney knows a judge who likes soccer--or hates fly by night teams in any sport--well, it may not affect the outcome but it can make records subpoenas easier to get.
What's the previous thing SS&E did openly? To hear this much is unusual. Why would this event change that pattern? If they consider filing suit, they won't publicly threaten it. They'll privately threaten, and the first anyone else hears about it will be from the Express-News because someone there flips through Bexar County court documents each day looking for interesting names to turn up.
Given that Precourt and Phil Rawlins were just removed from the expansion committee, I imagine that is part of it.
He would have a conflict of interest at this point with expansion markets, especially San Antonio. Maybe a similar situation with Austin and Orlando because of the history there.
In this case, the first we will hear about it will be a leak from the league office or actual proceedings.
As i noted in another thread, the only true original NBA team in the same city is the Knicks (the Celtics were "traded" with Buffalo though the name etc. didn't move) and the Cards and Bears are the only original NFL teams. But there haven't been that many moves recently.
