Well this week was huuuuuge in terms of getting what we need because the schedule is about to pick up. Numerous road games, and a list of teams that qualify as who’s who.... NE, NY, KC, ATL, NYCFC, LAFC, Between here and end of July the going gets really tough.
Good match. I really wish I had a chance to be there in person or at least see it live but life happens sometimes. Staying positive. Got the points. Shutdown. Good to see Busch honored. Momentum will be helpful on the road. The 11K+ that showed looked and sounded great and thanks for mother nature for moving the downpours to before the match.

Someone needs to explain to me how this tweet fits in with the narrative that Erickson is one of the five biggest enemies of the STC movement and is gleeful when he can report on the lack of local support, because I guess I'm just not smart enough to figure it out on my own.
I only see a tweet here and there so I am asking if he has been fair in his coverage. I honestly don't know if he gets much printed.
Sure but I still see a player with incredible tools and poor decision making. I like the kid and I want him to succeed here.
I agree. There was one break in particular where he ran with thr ball, could have made a simple pass to pipa that would've really put chicago under pressure, but instead he ran down a blind alley, held the ball some more, and then passed to an already offside pipa. Very frustrating. Then he made a Bale-esque run from last years copa del rey final to set up a Zardes tap in in. Good with bad, but still young.
Nice touch announcing each player’s mother during the opening line up. I was taken back with that small touch of class.
Basically, the Bridgeview Fire fans have nothing to be laughing at with any other team since: Their lease basically is for the next 30 years or so in Bridgeview The USL team (backed by the Cubs owner) that is going to build a 20k stadium in Lincoln Park area, where actual people live They've already been Greeley'd.
What? Really? That really happened? How many were involved? Did they only do this marching in? Kind of reminds me about Celtic fans making airplane noises/gestures at Claudio Reyna with Rangers after 9/11. And didn’t Mexican fans chant “Osama” during our National Anthem in a CONCACAF CL game, or something? There is no comparison between 9/11 and the possible move to Austin. But there *are* some lines that shouldn’t be crossed. $#!tcago “fans” clearly don’t understand that line.
I actually forgot about Santos even being in this game. I couldn’t tell what happened from the stage; just saw them trying to wrap his leg up afterward. What the hell happened in ten seconds that hurt him that much?
Actually, never mind. I just saw the highlights and answered my own question. The first time he moves, he pulls up lame. Disturbing.
Yes. How many fans do they even have? Half of the 101 section? No idea. I could not hear them singing over there. As an added bonus for you -> when I went over to my husband to register my disgust regarding those shitheads, I said something about wanting to deck them. I apologize for offending any Crew parents near us. For the kicker, my husband said if kids were not around, then he would have been flicking them off. P.s. I am sure the video of them will show up on felon YouTube since the really slimy ones were recording their nonsense.
Tight hamstring according to GB. I know at Braga he had some injuries. Nothing major, but a couple here and there.
And, while hurt, had two rather sweet passes--the first one set up the Afful shot off the post, which should have scored.
After 12 games, the Columbus Crew have the stingiest defense in the league (10 goals alliwed in 12 games). Who would have thought that? And a lot of those have been self-inflicted. Still, Valenzuela has been mostly excellent on the left. Mensah less mistake prone. Abubakar continues to improve. Afful is consistent on the right. 3G has been better rotating guys. Williams in the middle & Hector on either flank. Even some late game Crognale. Sauro is on the mend. Also, Clark has been a nice addition at DM to give Trapp a rest & help see out games. Grella is back to starting. Both Martinez & Hansen have shown useful patches. Heck, we even won a game Pipa didn't start (Argudo). No help for Zardes, however. Schedule does get tougher from here. But I am proud of the team. Hope we can keep them.
