By that point, I don't think you wanted to go to JFK for anything. Of course, Franklin Field was the the home field for the Birds for many seasons before the Vet was built. My guess is that tOSU wanted the gig for some reason.
First: I have not read everything in this thread yet, so if this take is unnecessary at this point, I apologize. The take: If we drop yellow as one of our main colors I'll probably stop following the team. I'm not joking. We're the ********ing yellow soccer team and in some weird, screwed up way which makes no logical sense, that is almost as integral to my fandom as the fact that it's my hometown team.
Cardiff tried to go from Blue to Red with the fans having none of it. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ed-Vincent-Tan-finally-bows-fan-pressure.html
Can we lock this thread please it’s irresponsible irrelevant, inconsistent ,incorrect ,inconceivable, inconclusive and just plain ignorant thanks
We are getting a new jersey sponsor. Acura's contract ended at the end of 2019, and there have been reports and rumors that they're not renewing. As for the rest of it, I suppose we'll see what happens and folks will overreact or not accordingly.
I hope they keep the current color scheme but if they don’t it won’t keep me from being as much as a fan as I am now. Colors don’t really matter, watching live soccer does.
This. We are one year removed from losing this team, and "fans" are clamoring that if we don't keep the Pittsburgh colors they will walk? I would complain if our colors where changed. And I would outright question he FO sanity if they changed them to green and starting calling ourselves the trees. But, this is the team of the city I reside in, and will support them through the good and bad decisions.
I still can't figure out why the Cleveland Browns would draft Pedro to solve their quarterback issues. After all, it was Uncle Rico who could "throw a pigskin a quarter-mile". Plus, Rico's campervan was orange and brown!
If our ownership is really tinkering with around with a new badge, I really, really hope they're paying attention to backlash happening in Chicago.
