So after Juan Agudelo & Bedoya represent USA and Vonlanten did the same for Switzerland, it seems that Yimmy Bermudez is one of many Colombians that represent Equatorial Guinea and even scored a goal yesterday vs. Spain. He was a sub-20 player in the Sudamericano 2007 and played for us (Nacional) for two years. It seems like the Equatorial federation "purchased" him and will pay him 3000 euro for every cap he'll make. It this even legal with FIFA rules?? seems strange to me. Also play in this national team: César Rivas, Rolan de La Cruz, Carlos Bejarano y Danny Quendambú. Extremely weird!! :ninja:

all players have their equatorial guinea legal nationality.and have never played for antoher NT., so they dont have restrictions to play there....no fifa restricition or regulation for this cases...

for each match they earn 3000 euros

haha how do they prove that they are from that african country? They are part african so they could potentially be from that part of africa?

It's like France calling up all of Africia. Or every Argie, Uruguayan being Spanish, Italian or German.

well the uncle of rolan de la cruz, lives there and he has cousins from there.....the uncle was the one that made the contact....

and they dont have to proved, that they are from there....its legal because guinea ecuatorial gives their nationality and documents in regular form ........the country is the one with that intention

miguel bose, ricardo montaner have colombian nationality........and the next will be pekerman......it just decision from the governemt.....
