Jesus Ferreira debuted and scored. Last goal in the highlights. He also had some shoddy defense in RSL's second goal.

The kid is still only 16...

Great, missed the game... Do you know how many minutes did he get?

Really liked what I saw in the Dallas Cup, mainly because he was among the youngest players in the tournament and was one of the best players, at least in the top 5.

Is he the first player born after 2000 to score a goal in the MLS?

    19. He hardly touched the ball besides the goal.

Not sure about the last stat, but he's now the second youngest player to ever score in MLS.

Which isn't saying much because the youngest ever was a guy named Freddy Adu.
    But oh well. :p

True about Macnelly Torres to MLS?!?!

I'd rather he go to NYRB

Good move for him to get a final payday. To me better then Colo Colo. He won the Copa Lib with Nacional and he is old. So China or MLS are good options but MLS would be cool to see him

I can only hope.. Because he did well for Nacional and they are going through a huge change.. I'd hate to see him have to suffer the growing pains of that transition. And MLS isn't as high quality of Europe but it's very physical and fast pace at least in those things it's similar to Europe which is somewhat helpful for him to get acostume to if he will play for Colombia in Russia.

Plus NYRB desperately need a #10 and he would be ideal

I don't see him at the WC. Cardona took his spot and we have way younger options coming up. Plus Pekerman called Gio Moreno. Just doesn't see him in Russia.

Think Argentina would also be great for him but don't think they have the $$$$

Would be cool if he went back to Junior. If he did that's the only way I see him at Russia or the NT. Media and fans will demand him if he does well with them. Leaving Nacional and Colombia will just take him out of the NT radar like Arabia did.

If we do call a MLS based player I'd like to see Higuita. Liked him every time I've seen him play. Solid DM with good passing. Def one to look at after the WC

Santiago played his first game for FC Dallas in a tie 2-2 against New England Revolution. He assisted in the second goal for Dallas. He ran like 75 m and made a killer pass that Urruti just had to push.

Shows you the difference between Spanish Language commentary and USA commentators.
The guys sounded like Ben Stein on that goal.

That’s some bullshit. MLS is the New Mexico, what a waste of time and talent these leagues are.

a post on here that I relate to. This is the stuff I see in my nightmares, young promising talent playing in useless leagues like mexico and MLS and turning into the next freddy montero. Very disappointing mentality indeed from our teams still

He's going to be making 500k a year. I don't blame him for making the move; he hadn't featured very much under DIM's new coach.

It's only a loan at this point, and it seems like he's going to be a starter...glass half full.

Mosquera debuted yesterday and he wasn't very good.

LA FC has a chance to be entertaining. They have Carlos Vela the Mexicano, a very young forward from Uruguay Rossi who people think is the next great potential, an Egyption named Gaber who is flashy on the wing.

They will have a lot of hype and buzz too cause they will play in brand new stadium in the middle of Los Angeles with crazy Mexicanos and Will Farrell in the stands. :p

im moving back to Miami soon so excited to see the new team. They'll probably have just as much money if not more in all honesty. Fingers crossed they sign no colombians though, maybe Rodallega.

Is he? What i've read is that LAFC has an option to buy of 500K. That money is laughable, but if it's true I'm gonna be very pissed.
