Manotas anotó un hattrick contra Portland Timbers. Ojala con esto se le abra el arco.

well his father is pretty much a pygmy compared to him. He looks like 1.76 tall and his father didn't even reach 1.70.

Wilmer Cabrera, former National Team player for Colombia, has been named as Head Coach for the Houston Dynamo. Now all the Texas teams are coached by Colombians from the Golden Generation. :p:cool::)

I think he would like that, one day, a long time from now. He still maintains strong ties with Colombian soccer.

Outside of Nacional can't see it happening.

No other team has a serious enough product or management group for him to leave the MLS unless he is a massive massive fan.

    Next best run
-Cali - um fired a guy who won with basically a u23 for a guy with no coaching experience who benched half the guys who won the title.
    - Santa Fe - won a international cup only to fire a amazing coach because their old ass star didn't play and sucks
    - Millos - fired Hernan Torres after winning them a their 1st title in like 20 years

Every Colombian team does something insanely stupid blames the coach and boom career over.

For Nacional I like Juniors old coach depending on how he did in Ecuador. From the Rueda school

Pareja if he wants the Colombian NT would have to go to Europe and coach or coach the US NT and do well. For that Rueda and Osorio are the next two in like for when Pekerman retires or gets fired

Actually, Pareja was formed as a player at DIM and has very strong ties to the team. I don't see it happening, yet.

Soo... Just watched the debut of the u18 team of FC Dallas against Everton (eng) in the Dallas Cup, and Jesus Ferreira, being the youngest of his team, looked like a Professional already. Played the first half in the right wing and the second half rotated between left wing and the center of the attack.

Really liked what I saw. I didn't saw him make more than 2 or 3 bad decisions in the whole game and was vital in three of the 5 goals of his team. The first goal was all his, dribbled in the area until he had enough room for a shot but the goalkeeper blocked it and another kid from FC just had to push it.

The third goal was a one-two from a corner kick and he made a great pass that one of his teammates just had to put his feet for the ball to enter.

And the fifth goal was a shot from one of his teammates that the goalkeeper blocked and once again he just had to put the ball in the net, and finally was able to enter the scoresheet.

Hopefully Restrepo calls him for one of the microciclos, the kid looks very mature for his age and could be a good addition for a team that looked a bit weak mentally.

Yup. He doesn't play a lot like his father, but he might have the potential to be a great player, very good ball control and smart but in a different way. Where his father was more of a thinker, he is more of a do-er. Probably the coaches haven't decided his best position yet, but I think he might be an awesome second striker in 3 or 4 years.

It's imperative that the youth selections show interest ASAP. The US excels in setting up relations with dual-nationality kids before they debut professionally.

Why? He was born in Colombia and in the end the decision will be his, he will play for USA in the concacrap, or try to make a name to be called for Colombia.

He could have grown an attachment strong enough to play for the USMNT so you never know. He is still too young to be considered either way.

As far as I Know he has never been called for the U15 or U18 USMNT, at least officially not yet, so he might be considering to play for Colombia.

His name has been talked about in USA forums for a while now.
I am a bit torn since I like both the USA and Colombia.
In many ways I hope he does select to play for the USA.
