    Hi guys!

I would like to know the list of Colombian players in Central America because we often hear about many unknown players over there. So I would appreciate if whoever has time and interest would like to help with making this list and keeping it updated. Thanks!

    El Salvador this past season seven Colombians scattered around various first division clubs (at the beginning of the season, some left while the season was still ongoing), they are;

    Hermes Martinez (Aguila)
    Elder Figueroa (Alianza)
    Wilson Sanchez (Atletico Marte)
    Luis Asprilla (Balboa)
    Roberto Peña (FAS)
    Mario Benitez (Firpo)
    Andres Aguirre (Nejapa)

The standout this past season was Peña who had a very good season at FAS and also played a good game in the final which the club won.

Also, i'm sure there would be a few more in the second division. Those details are a little more difficult to get though. If you really want them then i can try to get them, so just let me know if you're interested.

Johan Ambuila and Miguel Solis are two players playing at Once Municipal (in the second division). They both played today in the league final which the team won (Ambuila scored a goal for his side which put them up 2-0, the final score ended 2-1).

Another Colombian that has been around Salvadoran football for years is Cristian Gil Mosquera. He's spent the majority of his time there in first division teams, but most recently he was playing in the second. He's slated to come back to the first division next season though (begins in a couple of weeks) with Municipal Limeño.

Also, like i mentioned previously, my initial list contained a couple of players who were released midseason from there respective clubs. One of these is Andres Aguirre who is now signed to Santa Tecla F.C. in the second division.

Another Colombian who is moving up to the Salvadoran first division is Jhon Eider Castillo. He's spent the last couple of seasons playing for Club Deportivo Dragon in the second division, and before that he played with Juventud Independiente also in that same division. This past season he ended as the second divisions equal highest scorer. He'll be playing with Vista Hermosa.

Hizo 5 goles.

Elder Figueroa will not be playing in the top flight this season. He was let go by Alianza and was unable to earn himself a spot in another first division side. He has found a spot in the second division though with C.D. Aspirante.

Mosquera was let go by Limeño before the season began (last weekend) and is now training with another first division club, in hopes of earning himself a spot.

Thank you guys keep up the good work. Hoping I can get info on Costa Rica, Honduras and Guatemala.

Amazing that pretty much 90% of these guys have never played first division football in Colombia.

IDK. why? for most part. colombians, are great -jugadores- in such small league's like El Salvador and Panama.

    i'm guessing/betting, cheap labor/salary.
