watched :25 minutes of this and it was awful...professional team v a semi pro team. When Money (Mexican Corporations owning and dictating 'development') dictate marketing (getting to the 'World Club Championship" is #1) over bettering their own league (playing real competition Copa Libertadores/Copa Sud) --you get little results. Its a JOKE of a cup. Since 2018 - ONLY Mexican clubs have won it with only two competitors for the cup not being a Mexican club. Ibarguen was a beast but the competition was low tier.

Yet that low tier team knocked out a MMLS team.

Funny thing I met the GK of that Tauro team a few years back. He was a America de Cali GK around 20. Was excited his team won that leagues cup. He went to colombia and no team wanted him. Last team I saw he was in an unemployed soccer player team haha

His name was Vulcan or something

Meh, it happens in Cup competitions. Teams sometimes surprise.

Just like Tijuana losing to an MLS team last night.

It happens at times but this is final 8 in "Champions League" play and I was just mentioning the level of play/competition on the field was very low. If it was a Cinderella team (think Once Caldas 2004) that made it far into this cup because they're playing everyone at a high level but still loses, that's one thing-- but that team last night looked so amateur.

You really can't take the Concacrap seriously. This is a 3rd or or even 4th tier cup. The only decent teams are the Mexican ones, but they have so Many south american players that It is ridiculous.

top scorers finishing out Clausura of Liga MX - none Mexican born. Current Apertura leader table has similar foreign names. That's just crazy. Build the damn wall. :p

    #1 and 7 are Colombian

#7 got kicked out of his team for a while
Didn’t he? So he could have had higher numbers.

As for not having Aviles but having Chara. Did Chara ever play that well in Mexico? Also how are either doing this season? Haven’t heard much from
    Either for a long time

Colombians = #6 as well (Uribe). And yes Chara played in Mexico but was a bit inconsistent and in a team (mostly Monterrey) already heavy upfront with AMFs and lots of egos. Aviles is not having the same blowout season but still lots of games to be played.

    Watching Leon vs BUAP.

Quinones just scored kid scores a lot he just needs to find Jesus or get new friends. If he can work on his discipline and gets a call up he can def be in Europe

He has the talent and potential.
Hopefully he matures and develops mentally. If not he will just stay in Mexico his whole career and be forgotten.
