    ??

Andres Renteria from Nacional is better. Pardo shouldn't be in any list. An average player who doesn't even have consistently in Greece.

I like Renteria but I don't think he is as good as Pardo.
I also think that Pekerman did not want to call too many players from teams in Colombia.

Hopefully Duvan, barrios and Lerma get a lot of minutes in both games.

If Mina is fit to play, test him and Davinson together.

If bacca plays, hopefully he can carry over his current club form. He could use some momentum at NT level.

Any insight as to why GC brothers were omitted?

I would imagine one of them was omitted due to Lerma taking a spot.

March friendlies will be more critical in terms who does or does not get called up.

I don’t see why people are getting all gassed up over this call up

they'll probably be in the final roster imo. I really think he just wants to try new things right now.

    Now, come on. This is pretty mild. At least he didn't say "rape" as other times. I'd let this one go;

I would make it an open competition. I don't want Ospina to be complacent and think that the job is his no matter what. I'd rotate each in the upcoming friendlies... ... and say may the best man win. If it be Ospina who has chemistry with everyone then so be it. If Armani comes in and shows to be a better leader then great. Competition should be healthy and positive.

I see what you are saying but you know that comparing friendlies to actual games is impossible. Despite his last mistakes at the end of last qualifiers he's been our #1 for many years and still considered young for a GK.
Consistency is key for GK and that's something Ospina has shown troughout the years in the NT.

Pekerman probably is testing who is going to be the back up keeper because we all know that if healthy Ospina is going to be the starting keeper.
Even more so considering he has WC experience

    Good points.
I think Ospina will be favored and has earned the right to be favored. I also agree with you on what Pekerman would do in this situation (and most Managers probably.) I personally would make it an open competition though. Especially with Ospina being so inconsistent lately for Colombia along with him not getting any minutes in England.
It is not an easy puzzle to solve right now.
