yeah, I recall that but JPA is more of a Farid version of broadcasting. I still think the Argie version of Fox Sports/TyC has the best production value. They can even make dull games feel exciting. No reason why one of the ESPN of Fox Sports channels can't broadcast this tournament. Surely we can garner a bigger boost to ratings than woman's D3 college softball.

I know JPA was not the greatest but at least it was not a Mexican commentator.

I can see ESPN maybe trying to get the English language rights but putting it on their ESPN+ $5 a month streaming service.

FOX would have been interested in English but they are all in on the Women's World Cup and want to focus on that.

    Unfortunately, CONMEBOL is losing ground.

We are underperforming in WCs and our games are usually very physical, lots of crowding refs, lots of arguing, and fouls.

That has its appeal, but it also turns people off.

    Hard to argue against that.

The things most people talked about during the 2015 tournament were not really the games or the players skills it was the Neymar suspension due to his meltdown against Colombia and Jara sticking his finger in Cavani's arse incident.

The crazy antics and gamesmanship has to end.

To add to your list #3 should be Vidal not even getting a slap on the wrist for his DUI during the tournament.

Been a while since I've had cable. I just look at streams online and youtube/netflix for entertainment.

Worst is when they show repeats of the weeekend game but have the rights to the game you want to watch!!!

Did goltv die? What liscense do they own? Did they previously have the Colombian league? Remember watching games on there before I had Caracol

Will win sports premium channel be available in the US? If so I can cut cable as that is why my dad wants cable

Same here. Best choice I ever made. I just share logins etc with some friends and now we are able to watch online streams via YouTube and Facebook.

Quality is bad tho. When you have NT games and watching it with family you need to have cable or a paid service

I have hbo because of my brother
    Netflix from T-Mobile
Most other channels from my parents directvnow. If I want to watch a sports game but for the most part just use their code to access the app for beinsports or foxsportes. The video quality is much better then the directv one

In some ways it sucks because we as fans have to wait until March of next year.
But it is mostly a good thing because it gives the new manager more time to experiment with lineups and tactics and try to evaluate things.

yes, just noticed there are 6 friendly match dates post CA before the March kickoff. So including CA and just basing it on guaranteed matches, that's minimum 9 matches that would be under his belt to get these boys in order....surely a lot more time than what Pekerman had when he took over.
