Excelente centro de Caicedo (futuro cobrador de Colombia? Es excelente en los tiros de esquina tambien) y cabezazo de Quiñones Saya.
Excelente primer tiempo de los muchachos que salieron con ganas de ganarse el puesto. Amaya para mí es fijo a menos de que se rompa un ligamento o se fracture la pierna, para su edad es muy inteligente y se está dejando la piel en la cancha. Bien también Quiñones Saya, anotador del gol y puso además un centro que casi fue gol, un cabezazo de Sandoval que golpeó en el travesaño al finalizar el primer tiempo. Deiber Caicedo también ha estado muy activo, gran precisión en sus lanzamientos y regate, que lastima lo pequeño que es, sin embargo, para mí deberia estar en el mundial. La dupla Goez-Balanta es la mejor que tenemos, sólidos defensivamente y Goez cuando se lanza al ataque es muy eficiente. Arroyo hoy está por la derecha y está jugando mucho mejor, sale con más claridad y no se le ve tan enredado defensivamente.
Resultado final 2-1 a favor de Colombia. En terminos generales el equipo fue superior a Panamá. Panamá tuvo 3 oportunidades claras que recuerde, una que golpeó el palo, el gol de penal y otro tiro que fue directo a las manos de Fontalvo. En el primer tiempo expulsaron a un jugador panameño pero en el segundo el arbitro decidió compensar y expulsó a Reyes por una jugada en la que los dos jugadores estaban forcejeando. Colombia tuvo alrededor de 7 oportunidades claras de gol, lastimosamente no remataron con potencia ni tampoco con la suficiente colocación para forzar al arquero. Los mejores del partido: Arroyo: un dolor de cabeza por la derecha. Sin duda es su posición, ya dejemos de inventar y cada jugador a su lugar, Vera por izquierda y Arroyo por derecha. Amaya: es un jugador colectivo, creativo y con una madurez impropia de esa edad. No está al nivel de Quintero o de James en el sentido de que pueda ganar un partido el solo, pero hay algo en lo que de momento me parece superior a ellos a esa edad, para su estatura y contextura fisica tiene una bolas de acero. Lo he visto chocar y barrerse contra jugadores mucho mas altos y fuertes que el y salió victorioso múltiples ocasiones. Goez: anotador del penal que nos dio la victoria. A lo Panenka. Es un jugador solido en todo, buena salida, colocación, pases en profundidad y cambios de frente. Gran futuro le espera. Quiñones Saya: Para mi se está ganando un puesto en este Mundial, es un jugador que desborda constantemente por velocidad y habilidad, tiene gran aceleración y control del balón en movimiento. A pesar de que Sandoval estuvo bien este equipo necesita un delantero, un rematador. Sandoval se asocia muy bien y hace unos pases de los que Ibra se sentiria orgulloso, pero yo necesito un delantero que se plante en el area y que haga a ese arquero sufrir, si el balón no va colocado que al menos lo fusile.
As I said I really like those three additions Arroyo, Amaya and Sanchez. Glad to hear they made an impact yesterday. If Cucho and Sinisteera can also make an impact maybe we have a chance to make a deep run. # Optimism

Reyes got what he wanted. Cucho and Sinisterra could give us the boost we need to score goals. (Or at least put better shots on goal) Hopefully they have time to acclimate and build chemistry with the team.
Hopefully we remember how to score this cup. And how douchey Reyes is about “being” Colombian doesn’t come to bite us in the ass this cup or in the future
The thing that gives me the most hope is looking at the highlights of the game against Uruguay. We had sooooooooo many chances but then just looked like garbage in the final third and shooting on goal. Especially Valencia who I am glad is not on the team anymore. Hopefully we can start Angulo-Cucho-Sinisterra. One of them will put the ball in the back of the net eventually.

Welp... I like it. We're definitely putting all our hopes in what Cucho can poach up there. The thing is, he will undoubtedly have quite decent partners to make shit happen. I mean... I guess you guys have not seen a lot of Luis Sinisterra and Andres Amaya, but with this two and Ivan Angulo in the field... We're gonna create chances, thing is, I don't know how Reyes is gonna use all their ability because Angulo and Sinisterra are mainly right wingers. Also using Balanta and Goez as the midfielders is probably the best combination, but I wouldn't rule Alvarado out, he was consistent all the games he played in the Sudamericano. Arroyo will be the jack of all trades, probably will be the starter right back but he will have time in the left if Vera gets injured.
Angulo looks like he can play on the left but yes he is much better on the right. Sandoval is a much better pure lefty but he just does not put shots on goal like Angulo so I think he is the one that will eventually be there.
Sandoval? I guess you mean Sinisterra. In my opinion Sinisterra and Angulo are in a similar level and if you ask me, I'd say Sinisterra is a much more complete winger.
No, I mean Sandoval from Barranuilla FC. He is decent on the left wing. I never seen Sinisterra play the left or drift to the left.
