    Thanks.
Hayen Palacios RB?! It's weird, when he played few games under Arriero in Nacional he played as an attacking midfielder or winger.

Yes. I've always known him to play as winger or striker, but Reyes is using him as Right back. Also Andrés Balanta Who was a center back in the U-17 plays as a DMF and Jader Valencia can play winger as well.

Oh man the South American U20 tournament is next month. I completely forgot about that... It's kinda weird how fast this year went.

Thankfully, we really shouldn't have an issue even if Chile and Brazil are able to mirror their strength at the U20 to their senior counter parts...I pray that these players really show up and do something amazing...

Let's do this. We have the talent to win this and win in Poland.
Hopefully Reyes will have them play up to their potential.

This is going to be very important for us...jesus I wonder what's going to happen when we start this. Will we have a very promising generation to back up the current senior squad?

If this is the best, that's saying A LOT. 2013 was a really talented group. 2011 was probably the most underachieving team Colombia has ever fielded.

Just off the bat, you could see the difference between Reyes and his predecessors. So many 2nd division and smaller sides represented. I don't know half of these kids, but I have faith in Reyes and a lot of stock in your reports.

2011 and 2013 had the most individual talent, but this one to me is great collectivelly too. Hard working and talented in equal measure, just like 2005.

I like Enamorado but he is intermittent, he does possess a lot of flair, unfortunately he lacks physical strength and is horrible at taking decisions, to me Iván Angulo is superior in every way, despite not being a lot taller than him.

2005 was the best all these guy got SNT call ups

Ospina, Libis(discipline cost him his career but was a great keeper

Defense - Zuniga, Cristian Zapata, Carlos Valdez

Mf- Toja(really liked him sucks he didn’t have a long career), Abel, Guarin, Edwin Valencia , Cristian marrugo

Cf - Roda, Falcao, Daryo Moreno, Wason Renteria

That is a solid ass roster

Still solid players didn’t live to potential in Harrison Otlvaro, Sebastian hernandez, Cassiera

James year could be due to a worse coach but the roster wasn’t great and they still have time but by this point the 2005 team was the senior team

Gk - no contest Ospina is/was better
    - Bonilla

Defense - tie was a solid ass defense tho the idiot coach preferred Ospina
Jeison Murillo, Pedro Franco - not bad
Rb - Arias at RB tho I think arias is a better club player. NT wise Zuniga was better
    Lb - hector Quninones

    Forced Luciano Ospina on us!!!!

    Mf
Fabian Castillo, Dider Moreno, Michael Ortega, James, Seb Perez

    FW
    Muriel, Duvan Zapata

You just can’t compare the 2005 team with any other then going well 2011 had James and he is the colombian G.O.A.T so that’s the best :)

    pffff

2005 was a big dissapointed only got a player in the ELITE. without Falcao and maybe zuñiga that generation would be a mediocrity.

Libis NEVER was a great keeper in senior categories....i doubt he had more than 20 matches

    Zapata and Valdes

Otalvaro, Hernandez, Casierra arent even stars in FPC.....bench players almost always and rotating between big and small clubs............maybe marrugo deserve some credit for being one of the best players of the FPC in this decade.............................SEBAS PEREZ at 24 achieved more things that all these guys.

Rodallega and Wason were called to NT because their u-20..........they were called more times than they deserved (no contribution to colombia qualify to world cup)....dayro another drunk that didnt contribute for colombia for any achievement

Only Falcao, zuñiga, aguilar and valencia contributed as to came back to world cup.

But at the end without Falcao that generation would be a real wasted.

2011 guys are making a decent career: the two colombian players with more goals in italy, valencia, inter and barcerlona player.......best player of eredevise that have gone two world cups............

Yeah nt 2011 very different from 2005............but that guys beside falcao, zuñiga and zapata have disappointed careers...........

Guarin never was important with NT...........and was part of an inter in decline.

Lot of wasted players in chances

All the coaches between Rueda and Pekerman were garbage. And huge part of why we did so badly. Wason was wanted by Ac Milan and Bayern. It was more Porto wanting a fortune for him that ruined his career then anything else. Didnt he win a copa lib? Think his career was mishandled

Rodallega was a top scorer in Mexico and Colombia. Decent career in England way more goals then el Zombie Falcao :). Also decent career in Turkey. Fine he never was the player he was that 1 u20 cup but still prob a top 25 Colombian all time player.

U20 2005 was our 2014 team minus James.

Ospina, Zúñiga, Zapata, Abel, Falcao were starters for what 8+ years in yellow?

Love Jeison he looks like my older brother but you can’t compare his career with Zapata.

Also you shit on Duvan all the time about not scoring more then 10 goals a season now somehow he is amazing or better then any of the 4 from the 2005 team. Muriel is over rated as fk

Agree to disagree but go on Wikipedia look at the rosters from both WCs and the 2011 team has a ton of dudes who aren’t even pro and are 26-27.

The 2011 team only good players are Arias and James

Gave up on Sebastián Perez, Duvan and Muriel a while ago

    PFFFF

    1. Wason wanting a fortune?? LOL ............he WAS TERRIBLE THERE.....he was loaned to a lot of teams every time porto let him in every window......in inter he scored 10 goals in 2 years......then he cant be good even in Colombia.........only a good season in europe with braga........yeah he was loaned to brasil, france, colombia.......but accortding to crzd ac milan and bayern couldnt afford his price.........that raicng strasbourg, braga and cald could by loan........interesting....

    2. Why you always with lies: Rodallega wasnt top scorer in Mexico. He failed there in Rayados and in Atlas........In necaxa he was good but not to scorer.............In england never scored more than 10 goals in a season, his best season was in second.........Yeah you rated low duvan because the same.......but rodallega is god......34 goals in 7 season wasnt so great ...........he have like 42 caps with the NT.......more than duvan and muriel together.....that you say that "you gave up"

    3. Muriel CAN BE OVERRATED but have got more ACHIEVEMENTS THAN Rodallega and Wason in europe (selected in team of years in serie a and elected as best young player).......

    4. Jeison career and zapatas HAVENT BEEN so different...........Zapata had a relegation actually.......Murillo have been elected in the best team of copa america, youngest player of copa america......... Both Failed in milan teams .

    5. Dont care if you gave up on sebatsian perez, duvan and muriel.......but have got the same or more of the players that you overrated of 2005.............USE THE SAME RULER AND STANDARDS

    5. Our team in 2014.........was full of discard players in these youth process..........like teo, cuadrado, jackson, bacca, armero, mejia, aldfo leao. ..........macnelly, ramos and aguilar were part of 2003.........

    6. Yeah maybe this horrible coaches (piinto, lara) failed because the players that they selected,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Rodallega always was used over falcao..........No matter that falcao was scoring in ruiver and porto..........

    7. i wont worship no one of this team built by an asholle of LARA..............FALCAO was elected to the world cup in 200'5 because briceño got injured.....................WITHOUT FALCAO that team would be a mediocrity wasted of careers.............

Falcao was shit during our dark period between rueda and Pekerman.

When Wason was on the French team in his first loan that is when Ac Milan and Bayern wanted him. He was also very good his first season at Braga. Just Porto wanted too much for them to keep him. He was a decent player.

Roda people hate because of his Messi comment.

For Muriel and Zapata v Roda. The hype these guys have and still get is mind blowing to me at 27. Roda was dead to more then half of you after his Messi comment.

Roda to me should have been made a winger. Same as Fredy Montero and they would have had better careers

    1. Falcao was discarded for copa america 2007. Falcao had less oportunities than rodallega. Was sent to tribune a lot of times and used as awing by pinto and lara. IN CLUBS HE ALWAYS PERFOMED BETTER THAN RIODALLEGA; HE WAS AN ELITE PLAYER........your god rodallega wasnt,...it was unfair that rodallega received to many opportunities................With bolillo falcao only played 8 matches and scored 5 goals..........with leonel only one match and he scored ...................so dont said that he just sucked like others to defend rodallega mediocrity,

    2. Just because Wason had decent season in France. So he isnt a failed?? is another mediocre of that NT..........his carreer doesnt help that generation to be good as you said.

    3. Rodallega scored for first time more than 11 goals in europe in Turkey with 29 years.........Messi and people aren guilt about that...........neither are guilty that rodallega have 43 caps with bad perfomances and only a goal in official matches......... Duvan and muriel together doesnt complete the 50% of caps....despite their careers have been better than rodallega (they tendency signs that both will en dhis careers with more goals than rodallega)

    4. Montero only have had 2 caps with the NT....nothing comparable cases. Neither rodallega and him had the speed to be wings.........

    5. is rididulous how you always decide to base your opinion.......Based in the love that a player recevied...........if rodallega isnt popular in colombia that doenst mean he is better than falcao, duvan and muriel............

I don’t love Roda. He just get way way too much hate. He wasn’t/isn’t that bad of a player.

Not saying Roda is better then Falcao that would be a foolish argument. Just saying the same coaches that miss used Falcao miss used all our players from 2006 to 2012

because he recived hated doesnt mean he evokes a successful of a generation.........he is maybe an example of how disappointed and overrated was that generation.

Yeah he has an important and good PROFESSIONAL CAREER...........but he wasnt an important contribution for colombian football in senior mode.

Rodallega had more opoortunities thatn maybe anybody with pinto and lara........and Bolillo and Leonel didnt use so bad falcao.............and surely the stop of using of rodallega and other players that didnt deserved an spot was one of the factors pf success for our national team.
