Este fue el mejor partido de los dos. De todas formas ese Larry a mi no me gusta mucho. Castro metió 2 goles en el torneo,asistio otro y se hizo ese autogol también, para mí aceptable rendimiento de los dos. Cosas buenas de torneo? Los dos centrales... Palma para mí tiene puesto asegurado. Reyes es mas burdo pero gana bien por arriba y físicamente se impone. Mier jugó dos partidos y se comio dos goles, en mi opinión ninguno de los dos fue su culpa. Tuvo un par de atajadas muy buenas, es muy rápido pero loquillo para salir. Le vendrían bien minutos profesionales pero como es jugador de Nacional los veo lejos. Sandoval me encantó. Y aparentemente ha jugado bien con Rivaldo Correa así que si se mantienen sanos van a estar en el sudamericano. Goez y Carvajal para mí tienen el puesto fijo también a no ser que se lesionen. Yeison Tolosa va a estar en el sudamericano a pesar de su irregularidad. Tiene mucho talento, hay que meterle cosas en la cabeza en cuanto a distribución y compromiso defensivo, pero en general entiende el juego. No puedo decir lo mismo de Enamorado. Hay mejores extremos que él en el FPC. Además su capacidad física me hace dudar mucho. Es demasiado delgado. Casi todos los sub 21 me gustaron mucho. Quiñones es un luchador... Si tan solo se mantuviese así de buena papa siempre y no se fuera a pelear o apuñalar compañeros... Barona mostro mucha madurez, asumió el papel de lateral izquierdo a pesar de haber sido extremo siempre y para mí estuvo entre los mejores del equipo, práctico y siempre mostrándose. Rojas a mi siempre me ha parecido un crack pero necesita afianzar sus condiciones en ese puesto de volante mixto con Envigado. El arquero Arias también tiene buenas condiciones. Y Leyser Chaverra necesita salir de la B, ese torneo le queda pequeño.
Very well managed tournament by Reyes. Each of his substitutes makes an impact coming in, his shifts to the lineups prove successful. Starting Palacios today proved to be the difference maker. I feel a lot more confident about the upcoming Sudamericano than the previous couple. Generally speaking, the sub 20s did well when they played this tournament. Palma and Sandoval were the standouts for me. I'm going to pay much closer attention to Quinones.

Interesante esta convocatoria, hay 5 nombres nuevos, estos son Julio Galindo, defensa central altísimo de Valledupar, Juan Pedroza, volante ofensivo de Santa Fe y Carlos Castro, ex jugador del DIM, un extremo muy rápido y habilidoso. También esta Marlon Valencia de Rionegro, del que no tengo ninguna referencia. Arlex Hurtado es un extremo muy talentoso, para mi va fijo a este sudamericano a menos que se lesione. El resto ya habían sido convocados. any prep matches scheduled before January championship ? I would assume Reyes will need to do senior call up soon as well and Im not sure how they expect him to manage these kids AND the senior team where they have 2 matches in October and 2 FIFA open dates for November. Really unfair to these kids and to Reyes, specially considering the timing.

Watching the management of Reyes during these friendlies with the senior team, gives me boost of optimism regarding his possibility to succeed with the sub-20.
I'm talking about him as a coach in general. After many years with someone awful such as Picis ( in my opinion, despite 2013), Reyes seems to me like a good option.
Arturo Reyes said the federation is already talking to the corresponding teams to get Luis Sinisterra (Feyenord), Anderson Arroyo, Eddy Salcedo Mora (Inter Mailand) and Jaime Alvarado(Hercules) and of course Cucho for the U-20 Sudamericano in January.
Awesome to know they're making an effort with Salcedo. I'd rather there be no chance at all any of them could get called up, but NONE are getting minutes for the 1st teams other than Cucho. It benefits the clubs more to get them exposure than to keep them plying away for the reserves, methinks.

This has always been an issue. FIFA really needs to mandate those dates for all ages U17+> if they want to give this tournament the best quality it deserves. I'd be shocked if they are loaned for the U20 World Cup, let alone the Sudamericano qualifier. I think James was allowed to play only because we were WC hosts but I dont think he even played Sudamericano qualifiers back then?
He wasn't loaned by Porto. I think we have the talent to qualify to the WC without the "foreign" players, but they would certainly give us a lot more punch. I think that the World Cup is a different story, most players are loaned because they are made in June-July.
