Team was eliminated... New coach time? what is it going to take to fire Restrepo and have Pekeman in charge of our youth. If not Pekerman it should be the guys in charge of deportivo Cali's youth program. Our youth teams should be powerhouses.
Good riddance. That will give those kids a reality check to mature when you're playing for your country. Just like when USA's olympic squad failed to qualify for London 2012.
While reading this thread and seeing comments that not qualifying is what some of these kids need to know, I also thought of the last US team that did not qualify for the Olympics. That team played as good as any team I've seen at that level. They were nice. They played the most entertaining style of all of the teams in CONCACAF. It was fun to watch them. They played a possession style people compared to Barcelona. People thought US soccer was finally turning a corner. They completely dominated Mexico (that team that went on to win the Olympics gold). The scoreline of 2-0 (while significant) doesn't do justice to what that US team did to that Mexican team. Then the actual qualifying tournament began and a coach who was too green had the team playing too cute instead of simply putting teams away and eventually, the best US team I've watched failed to qualify. Looking back at the team and the players involved, I can't say it helped those players that they did not succeed. They lost valuable opportunities to showcase themselves, the team and the federation. Those camps and games are valuable opportunities for the individuals to come together as teammates, implement a style of play and be showcased for the senior team and staff. An opportunity to medal would have been nice, but just like any FBS coach whose team wins at least 6 games and gets into a bowl will tell you, the bowl is a nice bonus, but nothing beats having extra practice.

De los pocos que se salvaron de la sub 15 del 2015 fueron Rafael Tapia, un man que va a ser una estrella si se mantiene con los pies sobre la tierra, rápido, fuerte y ambidiestro, su único problema es que mide como 1.64, pero en cuanto a lo demás me pareció un jugador excepcional. Raro que no esté Deiber Caicedo, porque ese man también es un monstruo. Brayan Gomez y Luis López también son muy buenos. El primero es un enganche y el otro es un extremo. De defensas no digo nada porque en ese sudamericano fuimos un coladero. Están el arquero Tunjano y los defensas Andrés Balanta y Thomas Gutiérrez. El único con experiencia europea creo que es Juan Perea, un man que tiene varios premios a nivel nacional de goleador, pero que en ese sudamericano fue una vergüenza. Hasta donde se pertenece a Red Bull Salzburgo y ha jugado algunos torneos juveniles. Pero como las reglas de la FIFA se endurecieron sólo se va a ir a los 18 años.
Si, Miranda podría jugar con la sub 20, pero yo no creo que Piscis lo tenga en cuenta, aún así me parece un jugadorazo. En 2 fechas del torneo primavera ha anotado 2 goles.

Los que mas me causaron impresión son los 3 de Real Cartagena, Jesús Diaz, Hollman Mccormick y Miguel Monsalve. Para mi al menos 3 de esos 6 jugadores acaban siendo internacionales y eventualmente en la selección de mayores.
