would you mind posting a review of the fit for the size you ordered and how it compares to the authentic on the inexpensive jersey thread? possibly a pic if you can.

im thinking about ordering a few for our intra-mural team.

Can't do a pic right now, but I'll give you a quick review. The material is just about exactly the same as the authentic replicas. Having the Real Madrid Kaka L/S I bought next to the authentic replica Ronaldo #9 that I bought a few weeks ago, you cannot tell the difference. The fit is a tad bit snug for me, but that's because I ordered a XL and normally wear XXL...but it still fits me.

The stitching appears the same, the material appears the same, everything is to scale...even the numbers are accurate. You probably couldn't tell that it's fake except for the fact that it's a L/S and they are not being sold right now (I've heard inklings that they may do it in the future). I'm actually quite surprised at how it, along with the Spain Villa #7 jersey I also bought, turned out. Hopefully the two I bought make it through a couple washes, but if it does, I'm definitely buying more from this website.

I saw that when I went to order there was only size XL or M, what way does the size run? They only had these two sizes on all the Jerseys? I heard they were Aisian fitting so was scared that they would be very small fitting.

I was worried about that too, but it's close to a true XL. It's not a true XL, but it's pretty close.

Like I told you the materials used are authentic and even the people that make them are usually people from the factories looking to make extra money. The only thing that makes these "fake" is that they are not price gauging and not sold at official retailers.

Yea, it was about 3 weeks. I haven't worn it yet, so it hasn't been washed. I will comment back when that happens.

ordering from soccerstarshop.net was very successful for me and I recommend it to everyone. The only problem is the shipping did take 2 and a half weeks.

Are the EPL name/numbers the official Lextra material or are they screenprinted?

Lextra I believe. Everything I've seen from thefootballshirt.com has been official.

Thanks. A lot of them I've seen were screenprinted, and I wasn't sure if they were the same or the official.

all soccer jerseys i've ever owned had numbers and names with a smooth feeling... even the one real john terry 07 chelsea home jersey. but if ur talking about the patch then its felt.

The official EPL lettering is the same felt material as the patch (the material is call ed Lextra). Both the patch and the lettering should feel the same, not the normal smooth screenprint that most other jerseys have.

Tried on my 09/10 Barca jersey even though I can't get it until the 25th. Compared to the 08/09 jersey it felt thinner, much like I'd expect from a shirt used for football rather than a replica. Its good though, the sleeves are a bit tight but I kind of like them that way. I probably could have gotten a size up and it would have been perfect length-wise. But I still think it fits good.

It would be good if they got rid of those white stripes at the bottom of the shirt, and the ones by the arm pits. Otherwise its meh.. That weave pattern could be interesting.
