I think you're overreacting a bit. He didn't "sound" (or type) like a recruitment video...he just mentioned he was in the military and it gave HIM (not you,or anyone else) an appreciation of his NT. I also wonder if you would have had the same reaction if someone who wasn't American said the same thing...

Good point. I find it difficult to put Scotland first when players from certain clubs (read Old Firm) have been happy to pull out of games before playing the full 90 in their next club game. If they do not take it seriously then why should the fans?
Count me in as a person who would be interested in seeing what Scotland would look like with every available Old Firm player fully committed to the cause.
