A recent round of new shares issuance has raised 99M from current investors in the club, mostly from Pallotta of course. The remaining 16M will be offered to the public through the exchange. I hope the anti Pallotta crowd are keeping track of these.
It has no effect on FFP, it doesn’t count as revenue. However, it means that we have cash for our operational needs and paying off debt, we don’t have to sell players just to keep the lights on like under Sensi or what Milan will likely do this summer. It allows us to spend to the very max of what FFP allows us.
Without looking, I'm curious what non-operating expenses are so high that we're still in the red despite the huge operating income increase
#Roma financials 2017/2018: €63.5m of “plusvalenze” realised following the sales of #Nainggolan, #Emerson, #MarioRui and others https://t.co/CzWdaO8Smb— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) October 6, 2018 These figures dont even include Alisson or Strootman’s sale. Which should help next summer.
That tweet says it's for the financial year ending 30th june 2018, so it's including all our early purchases in the mercato, but doesn't include the profit from certain sales, Allison being the main example, which will count towards this financial year. So I think there's some money knocking around (for a new CB hopefully )
#ASRoma’s losses have fallen and turnover is close to record levels, but their debt has reportedly risen to close to €220m. https://t.co/5tIEjnmxGT pic.twitter.com/Md93rH1nMM— Football Italia (@footballitalia) October 11, 2018
I think this is probably a positive sign, no? To be able to increase debt is usually a mark of a healthy business.
#Milan, il #bilancio è pessimo: perdite “cinesi” da 126 milioni https://t.co/WOKhOoqanx #serieA #milan pic.twitter.com/FjvNCIJi18— La Gazzetta dello Sport (@Gazzetta_it) October 12, 2018
I'm thinking this one... is a pretty, pretty, pretty good response to: Was this made before Ninja and Allison were sold?
#ASRoma 2017/18 accounts cover a season that the board described as “great”. They finished third in the league and thrilled their fans by beating Barcelona to reach the Champions League semi-finals before being eliminated by Liverpool. Some thoughts in the following thread.— Swiss Ramble (@SwissRamble) October 23, 2018 Thread by the Swiss ramble on the clubs finances.
